GI Joe 11 was another winner for one of (?)/the best (?) comic on the stands today. Next issue marks the return of Night Force as Flint and the team go to recruit their newest member. Read Full Review

The final round of Baroness vs. Bludd leaves its' mark as the Energon Universe continues to expand its' vision. Williamson's writing leans heavy into action as more builds. Milana and Loughridge grow a fast pace with their strong art. With more on the horizon, the EU is firing on all cylinders. Don't miss it. Read Full Review

G.I. JOE #11 is this series at its best. Joshua Williamson has nailed how to tap into the political intrigue going on around the JOEs and Cobra. That intrigue is made better by the dynamic between various characters, led by the Baroness and Cover Girl's strong chemistry. It all is done in a way that makes this series stand on its own while also building up the greater Energon Universe. Striking the balance drives home this being a must-read comic book. G.I. JOE #11 delivers a kinetic dose of snark and firefights, but by the last page, it's clear this rollercoaster left a few bolts rattling. The Paris caper packs heart but loses steam in the details, with loose pencils and a rushed ending that beg for a tighter grip. File this one under "fun ride, rough landing. Read Full Review

G.I. Joe #11 wrapped up the Baroness / Cover Girl plot nicely - leaving Major Bludd in a way that I'm not sure how the writers will handle the character going forward. The other plots wrap-up in a satisfying way, yet still have me wanting more. Plenty of fun, plenty of action, a great ending that sets the stage for what's to come in issue 12. I continue to recommend this title along with ALL of the Energon Universe books.

A good conclusion to this mini-story, but I would have expected Baroness to get her parents moved in case they get targeted again. I don't understand Bludd getting blinded. I guess we will see what Williamson has in store for him. I'm still not a fan of the art style for this book. I did like the stuff with Hound and Risk. Looking forward to the next issue. Don't know what happened with the art on this issue. Usually a big fan of Andrea Milana's work but most of the panels felt rushed here. Really liked the story but I was a bit bummed out by the lack of details and simplified art...
