This was the arc this book has been needing to show off its creative teams skills because they really got off to a rocky, hit-and-miss start. The issue perfectly balances Wilsons humor and ability to flawlessly tune into Dianas character, while still packing tons of entertaining action into its breezy story. This issue not only brings in some more elements from Greek myth, but it seems to be tying in Arthurian mythology as well. I'm not sure yet if this run is better than Rucka's, but it's getting up there. Read Full Review

This run took a few issues to get going, but Wilson has fully won me over. Nord's artwork isn't the best fit for the book, but it's hardly stopping my enjoyment. Wilson is writing the title in a way to make it easy for new readers to jump on. At this point, there's no need to delay, if you're not reading this title, it's time to start getting on board. I am so thoroughly disappointed with what G. Willow Wilson has given us over the course of 9 issues that I have run out of excuses. Early on I saw flashes of a truly great story that I was excited to see unfold, but now having seen it unfold into basically a nothing story I don't know what I'm supposed to say. I am a Wonder Woman fan but this book is just not enjoyable. I don't know what magic Greg Rucka took with him when he left at #25, but the 4 writers since then have been struggling to recreate it. Nice! Wonder Woman and Giganta's conversation alone keeps this comic moving, great action sequences to boot. I don't think these two characters have tried this before and it makes it more interesting. I thought the romantic escapade between the girl and Satyr was weird, it was not very well done in previous issues to suddenly make them fall for each other here. It doesn't work like that.

This was a DRAMATIC improvement in Cary Nord's work, as the action scenes suited the artist's more kinetic style. This felt like a very new-reader friendly issue as well.

Artwork is a 6/10. The dialogue is about the same. And the Magical creatures and Maggie is just getting weird. Don’t mind them being for comedy relief but this issue was just weird.

I just don't care about this series anymore. Bring back Greg Rucka or someone that actually knows how to make this character interesting.
