The New Age of DC Heroes titles have been something of a mixed bag, but The Terrifics is the biggest success of that line. Still, I'm optimistic for the future of the series. The core quartet continues to have a stellar chemistry, and their adventures will continue to be a fun reprieve thanks to all of the camp and unbridled joy that comes from having four science-y heroes continue to do science things. While this issue's big ending is likely temporary, it was clever for the series to lean into that The Terrifics haven't really formed any bonds during their weeks together. Sometimes, there's just no chemistry between people, and hopefully Lemire continues to subvert typical superhero team dynamics in the future. Read Full Review

Plenty of nice artwork surrounding the near total void of story. This series never found its footing, it's been this great-looking thing that has no substance to grab onto. Too bad, because the opportunities to make us care were evident. Read Full Review

What a perfect ending - But wait ! This isn't the end ! Yeah. I loved this story. It was powerful and funny. It's make Mr Terrific shine. I'm waiting for the next step forward. Cover - Nice I see the link now ^^ 1.5/2 Writing - Really like what lemire show us. Still the best FF story ! 3/3 Arts - I liked the art, even if sometime it's not perfect on the face of the characters. 2.5/3 Feeling - A great book. 2/2

Took me a month but ive finally read this issue but theres not much to say. Its very fun. A bit silly. The Terrifics finding out that Doc Dread is actually Java is almost a Scooby-Doo vilain reveal scene. LOL. But its good.

Gotta love The Terrifics, which is one of the very few series being able to competently combine relentless action, genuinely funny humor and lots of heart. So far, there's no single issue of the run I wouldn't like. It's great, and I can't wait for the characters to unavoidably reunite again. Hopefully Linnya will find a way to get the team together at last, seeing how much she actually cares in this issue. Definite thumbs up from me.

"I want to be a superhero!" Who doesn't? Since issue 7 the Terrifics were a bit disappointing. What was once fun and exciting started to feel by the numbers. Coincidently, right when Metamorpho lost his powers the book seemed to lose its spirit. But all signs point that issue 10 is bringing that lost spirit back. The action is more exciting, Plastic Man is funnier and the interactions between characters just seem more genuine. Maybe it's Bogdanovic's art or maybe Lemire had a better idea for this arc's conclusion than the arc itself. I don't know. What I do know is that I'm getting excited again for this title.

I'm not interested in this team, so the whole break up at the end felt pointless. I guess this issue was fine? It didn't bore me to death, but I didn't care about what was happening at all. Java's story in the annual was good, so I'm glad that he's just a huge mistake in this issue, yet somehow still bests the team. Doc Dread is a parody of Doom but doesn't do anything particularly worth anyone's time on his own. Nothing to raise the stakes. Just to make people clap, for they know the character he is parodying. This issue has nothing for me, but it's a testament to Jeff Lemire's writing that I didn't hate it.

Ok story, didn't really interest me but hey at least good dialogue, haven't said that for this book in long time. Wondering where it's going from here. Really hope that this shows us that Java is truly one of the best villains out now. Personally I'm more interested in the villain and could give two craps about the team/ former team. This book better shape up or wouldn't be surprised if by April is when it gets cancelled

The book does a crappy job to interest me! At this point I don’t care about any of the characters and we are 10 issues in with an annual.
