Supergirl Comic Box Commentary - Anj
Jan 06, 2022But this is a good cliffhanger. I have to assume the physical threat will end quickly leaving the rest of the pages to sort out all the other plot threads. Will Kandor end up in the Fortress? Regrown on Rokyn? This series has been something special. I am sad to see it go and can only hope we get more. I want a sequel already! And maybe put this team on a Supergirl '84 book! Read Full Review

Dec 28, 2021This is an old-school comic in the best way, capturing Superman at his best in a story with high-stakes and a timeless feel. It might not be quite as ambitious character-wise as its Batman counterpart, but it may be a better tribute to its title character. Read Full Review

Dec 28, 2021The '70s are back with a vengeance as the creative team take the opportunity to pepper this plot driven issue with bits and pieces to which children of that decade will thrill. It all goes hand in hand in developing the look and feel of the series as a continuation of the films. And, it only really works if the book can conjure up the notion that it actually comes from the '70s. Read Full Review
