Andreyko remains the writer, but the distinctively satisfying pairing with Maguire will be missed as Kara makes a steady path for a meeting with the Year of the Villain crossover in issues #35. Supergirls House of El arc largely provided an alternate look at events occurring in Superman. Karas return to her own adventures is certainly well-timed and itll be interesting to see where Andreyko takes The Girl of Steel for the next big arc. Read Full Review

It is a satisfying ending to an extended storyline. With the direction that the character has traveled, we readers can expect anything to happen going forward. While this series may not have had the rousing conclusion we were expecting, Supergirl as a title can grow to new heights from this foundation. Read Full Review

Supergirl is finally done with the crossover that the book got sucked into but we had to dredge through this final issue and it was a struggle. Everything is horribly disconnected and if you haven't been keeping up with other books, then it is a completely confusing issue. Also, for as many great artists working on this issue, I didn't find the art all that great either. Read Full Review

Great issue. Finally Kara and Z'ndr have their reconciliation. I hope there will be more of this two, good couple.

This was definitely way better than the same scene but from Superman’s side. It was good to see Kara grow and change a little.

Just a better retelling of Superman. Thank god this book can stop just telling the same story as Superman though. Whoever greenlit having two books with the same story needs to be working in another business.

Long story short, you lose your individualism when you're forced to conform. The series seems to be a victim of Bendis' takeover of other series connected to Supergirl, and aggressive promotion of the Legion of Superheroes' upcoming comics. Yeah, we know, it's a huge event, or so DC wants us to think, but so far it's been holding other titles back. Hopefully Kara will move on and does whatever SHE wants, instead of what Bendis' huge Rogol Zaar plotline demands.

At least most of the stupidity in Superman #14 was kept out of this. Still mired by this crossover, though.
