Benjamin Percy has done a brilliant job with this story so far. It has been an absolute pleasure to read. The journey has been an incredible adventure, straight from the get go. NIGHTWING #46 is an overall solid issue. Nightwing and Batgirl's working dynamic is engaging and made the focus in this comic. Benjamin Percy's writing and Chris Mooneyham's artwork both do a fantastic job at creating the virtual nightmare plaguing the city. Read Full Review

A solid issue; variances in art notwithstanding. Great story ideas, lovely characterization and good images. The threat is one that I find engaging and the end of the issue has left me on edge for the next chapter. The issue isn't perfect, but it's definitely pretty darned good. Read Full Review

In my opinion, the story arc so far lacks the gravitas to justify a six-issue story event, but I could be wrong. But I love the introduction of Nightwings underground bunker, from which he and Batgirl can strategize against the bad guys. However, given its plethora of high-tech hardware, is it not vulnerable to Wyrm as well? Well see. Read Full Review

Nightwing #46 continues a solid trend of comics for this series that is quickly solidifying Benjamin Percy's run that is just beginning. Percy has developed a story that feels like a personal attack on Nightwing while having larger ramifications if Bludhaven's hero doesn't stop Mirage's Phantasms. That along with some fun interactions with Batgirl makes Nightwing #46 a issue fans don't want to miss out on. Read Full Review

Percy's work has brought all the different stories together which is ultimately satisfying, but there is very little to keep me interested in the current arc, though the next issue should pick up with the greater inclusion of the Bludhaven gangs. Read Full Review

Nightwing #46 wasn't my favorite issue. It also wasn't a bad issue. It was just an issue. What I am holding on to, is that Benjamin Percy still hasn't fully answered the "Why?" behind each character. This is not something Percy does. He is very good at exploring the why, and I hope that #47 will explore that. This is still just a portion of a larger story, and should be read as such. All we know is how we got here, not where we are going. There are still a lot of open ended things and the possibilities are numerous. This keeps me excited for the next issue of The Bleeding Edge arc. Read Full Review

I want to move on to something else.  This story of tech gone wrong is boring and without anyone to cheer for, I am just left yawning.  I did like the art here, but not much else. Read Full Review

Can we just move on? I'm not saying I want Percy gone just yet, but I'm definitely ready to move past this story. If I'm being completely transparent though, Percy needs to deliver with the next story or people will most definitely drop Nightwing from their pull list. Read Full Review

Nightwing #46 is a bit of a disappointing read. It relies on stale tech horror clichs and bad puns, and the story is going a little too slow for its own good. The art is solid enough, but its not enough to pull this comic into recommendation territory. I cant say to stay away from it either, but it is a dull book on the whole. Read Full Review

“Finally Speeding Up in Bludhaven’s Hyper-Loop” Score: 8.5/10 Pros: -The art is amazing. It’s not perfect, but I prefer grit in my art. It mixes well with the story. A Cyber Horror unleased upon Nightwing and Bludhaven. -The flow of the story is back. I was annoyed at the past issues because of slow plot progression. This issue is a constant adrenaline drive. You can finally see where the story is heading. -The partnership of Nightwing and Batgirl was good. I’m not a fan, but I like how there is no soapy drama involved. They were past lovers and there were flirting, but the mission always come first. Cons -Why did we have to put a lot of pages past issues for this Cloke guy? He slowed down the story without any immedi ate payoff. -Not the best characterization of Dick, but not bad. We need more smiling daredevil who can kick the villain’s ass. After the average past issues, I’m glad this issue is different from those. It has that Dixon feel in it. Maybe even some Higgins. Nightwing is more than Seeley’s Silver Age inspired run. Nightwing looked bad-ass especially with the helmet. I love how he escaped Wyrm. Dick Grayson always find a way. He might not be Batman, but he finds his own way. Dick way. You can start with this issue, since the past two issues can be summarized in a few sentences. That’s all. Thanks for reading this review. more

I've been really enjoying the story so far. While the main villain is not too significant, there's quite a lot happening which makes the book a lot more enjoyable. Not to mention the artwork, which I absolutely adore.

SPOILER WARNING!!! (Don't want to be hacked do you?) Nightwing steps up his game and escapes last issue's cliffhanger like we all knew he would, before getting rescued by Babs. Now I haven't been reading too much of Batgirl or Birds of Prey (Namely only the New 52 Batgirl run from Gail Simone), but this Barbra Gordon just feels a bit off to me. Whilst I do like the idea of a tech based story and Batgirl is the one to bring in for it, it doesn't work too well with Nightwing. Speaking of which they brought back a bit of his apparent disdain for technology whilst also having what is practically a Batcave in the sewers. Whilst the villain is revealed, the cliffhanger is practically the same as before. Also what difference does this make being after the events of Batgirl #25 and was it important to tell us readers? Like always Chris Mooneyham's art was good throughout with only some minor mistakes. It may sound like I am disliking this arc, but I'm just trying to point out my concerns and I am looking forward to where Percy takes this next. more
