Feb 11, 2020Lois Lane #8 is another great issue in this series. It isnt a contender for the best, but it certainly demonstrates why this series has been fantastic from the start. It takes the plot in a new direction and gives plenty of action for slower-paced series such as this. Read Full Review

Word Of The Nerd - Edward Wendt
Feb 10, 2020This issue could have easily been more mundane. In any twelve-issue series there is a formula to follow in terms of the development of the overall plot. Because of this an issue #8 of a series is not meant to move readers, instead just to move along the story. That is partially the case here, but there is a bit more. The series has aimed to tackle broader issues and it does so here, albeit in subtle ways. So while the series is catching its breath in terms of pacing, there is no dropoff in social commentary. Feb 07, 2020Will we learn her connection to Leviathan? Why was he hunting her? Who is she anyways? I suppose this is another plot nudge. But these are crumbs. I don't mind long form story telling. But how I wish things were moving a bit faster. Read Full Review

Feb 09, 2020I didn't love this issue. It's fine; the art is great and the dialogue is fun. But nothing else really grabbed me. This whole series has felt strange lately. I loved it early on but I'm not sure where it's going and I don't know if I care anymore. It is by no means bad but it's disappointing to me. Read Full Review

Feb 05, 2020There's a lot of nothing going on in this issue and with eight issues down I'm wondering what the overall plot of this series is because it feels so far removed from where we started, beyond an attempt on Lois' life, but even here we continue to go off on weird tangents that seem to be just padding out the issue and sadly, I'm still not a fan of the art for this series. Feb 05, 2020The monumental change in the Superman status quo had to permeate to the Lois Lane mini-series eventually. Now that it has, hopefully, this unfortunate offering is the exception instead of the new norm for what has been a great series. Read Full Review
