    Comic Watch - Chad Burdette

    Aug 08, 2023

Knight Terrors #3, which marks the beginning of the end of the main series, is an issue that simply setups up the penultimate issue of the event, Knight Terrors #4, and the bookend, Knight Terrors: Nights End #1, while folding back into the events of Knight Terrors: Batman. Williamson has a lot of ground to cover, resolving the main storyline and working with the heroes and villains whose nightmares are explored in the various two-issue tie-ins. Read Full Review

    AIPT - Christopher Franey

Joshua Williamson has a superb art team and a noted group of heroes that will give you an adventure that goes to the past and stops at the House of Horror. Sandman, Deadman, and Robin are an excellent sampling of DC's heroes that get the job done, but the story will make you question if this is actually a win for the heroes. Read Full Review

But Why Tho? - William Tucker

    Aug 08, 2023

Knight Terrors #3 ventures into the endgame. With so many asleep, the world can feel empty now. But its also mixing cult favourite characters with household names to tell a story that leans on horror and fear rather than action. The tie-ins might be ending, but Knight Terrors isnt over yet. The latest installment of DC Comics horror-infused nightmare leaves fans wide awake with some impactful events to process. Williamson, Camuncoli, and the team deliver a solid companion piece to the larger story unfolding across the DCU. Keep an eye out for this on New Comic Book Day! Read Full Review

    Batman-News - Jackson Luken

    Aug 08, 2023

Knight Terrors #3 manages to move the story forward enough that you care about what's happening in the moment. The narrative still struggles to get you fully invested due to how disjointed the various set pieces are, but individually their smaller character moments carry the scenes. Has it quite reached the point that the series feels “worth it” outside of an event framing device? Not quite, but it's improving. Read Full Review

Ultimately readers, if you havent jump into this event yet, dont bother. And if you already took the plunge into Nightmare on DC Street, you still have time to save the rest of your money before its too late. From missing plot threads, muddied viewpoints, emotionless character connections, and convoluted menageries, Knight Terrors #3 show fans almost every storytelling faux pas making this event harder and harder to get into. I think its time to cut and run people. Just bide your time until September at this point. Let me know what you think, have a great week, and God Bless! Read Full Review

    Weird Science - Gabe Hernandez

    Aug 08, 2023

Knight Terrors #3 may be the most problematic issue in this event because it moves the plot forward to acquiring the Nightmare Stone by effectively ignoring every bit of information that came before and rewriting the rules as it goes. It's hard to tell what Williamson was thinking when he drafted this event, but why should the readers invest in making sense of a story when the creator won't? Read Full Review
