Nov 24, 2020The issue wraps with an somewhat ominous note of finality — with all the DC titles that have been cancelled lately, it's hard not to get concerned with a happy ending. Their adventures are slated to continue in Endless Winter and hopefully after Future State, we'll see the team united once again. Read Full Review

Nov 25, 2020I was overall satisfied with the conclusion of Justice League Dark #28. Couldn't have pictured a better ending for this story because it perfectly took advantage of everything this team overcame to fight against the odds. I for one can't wait to see what comes next in Endless Winter. Sounds ominous, doesn't it? Read Full Review

Feb 21, 2021A fantastic finale for this series of Justice League Dark. The story Ram V has written for this issue serves a great way to wrap up the tale of the Upside-Down man that James Tynion started at the beginning of the series as well as dealing with Zatanna's guilt over her father's death. The characters are all well-written, especially Zatanna and Detective Chimp who are highlights of the issue. The art by Nahuelpan isn't as creative as past issues but it's still a beautiful sight and does a terrific job of illustrating the story. The lettering is good too with a nice variety of speech bubbles being used to different effects that add to the overall presentation of the story. A brilliant ending for a brilliant series. Nov 24, 2020While the art continues to be really good and fun throughout, the conclusion to our Upside-Down Man story kind of falls short in my opinion. This magical monster and the world he encompasses is just kind of thrown aside and makes this threat feel way smaller than he ever should have for all the build-up we've had over the last two years.
