Harley Quinn #73 wraps up what was a fine story that maybe went on a bit too long. I get that DC really wants Harley to be an Anti-hero and that is working fine here. The stuff with Booster doesn't always work but I like that he is here. I suspect the plan is to finally get him another title of his own and that too would be fine. Humphries and Basri give Harley a needed infusion of direction and vitality. Harleys life may still lack a great deal of direction, but shes much more in the rhythm of her own psychosis as the current storyline reaches the end of its fourth chapter. Harley might not ever find a totally well-adjusted lifestyle. Still, Humphries continues to push her in a direction that at least FEELS like its progressing to some sort of stability even though shes unlikely to ever really stabilize. Read Full Review

We're being led one step closer to the end of the series, and with the massive pieces of information we get given in this part of the tale, it's a sure thing that something huge is coming. This issue focuses once again on the emotional journey Harley's taking and moves away from the repetitive action of the last couple books. Sam Humphries has hit a new low for me.  The insensitive way he uses suicide for his story is disgusting, even if it is a red herring.  Actually, it might be worse because of that.  The story means nothing as we bounce back and forth to get to a cliffhanger that may be fun, but I don't think me and Humphries have the same meaning of fun, so who knows!  I love Sami Basri's art, but other than that, this book is not good!  Thank god this is all ending soon! No. The way suicide is used to push the story is ridiculous and badly written. The queer erasure of Harley Quinn and the forced thing with Booster Gold adds to the low score. 0/10
