This arc didn't go on for months and months with no real advancement of the story preventing the Starbreaker Supremacy from wearing out its welcome. The resolution also didn't feel like some random solution that could have been accomplished far earlier. Adams and Hampton throw in a very interesting curve ball at the end to further build excitement about what's in store over the next few months for Green Lantern and Green Lanterns Corp. Green Lantern Corps #9 juggles cosmic carnage, emotional fallout, and high-octane Lantern action without dropping the glowing green ball. The story rides the razor edge of heroism and heartbreak, serving up a ringside seat to defeat, redemption, and pure comic chaos. The Starbreaker Supremacy concludes with a definitive finish, but not without its flaws. The writing gives readers many moments to cheer about. Theres plenty of big action courtesy of the art team. How it finishes feels lacking in certain degrees, but that will be up to readers to decide on. Either way, a new era of GLC starts with the final page and a new outlook coming. Read Full Review

The Starbreaker Supremacy saga reaches its finale as the Green Lantern Corps unites every color of the Emotional Spectrum for one final stand. Morgan Hampton and Jeremy Adams deliver a conclusion filled with heart, heartbreak, and heroism, punctuated by breathtaking visuals from Fernando Pasarin and his talented art team. It's a finale that hits the right emotional chords, even if its resolution feels a little too tidy for such a galaxy-shaking event. It’s nice to have the spectrum all back in action and working together! Each character seems to have a moment to shine. I also think I have the secret of that last page figured out, having read John Stewart’s previous series. Overall, it’s nice to have the band back together.

I had plenty of fun with the characters in this issue and event but there was far too much hand wavy moments that really took away from the issue. The worst part of the event was the generic villains where had they stuck with Nate as the big bad as it started, would've been so much more interesting. Still a fun read and looking forward to the future issues of both series now that the event put things back in place.
