Support This Book! I wish this had been the first issue. After a bold, radical first act, this title definitely deserves a second chance. Flash has always been my favorite, but too often he's written in a way that feels predictable. I'm excited to see someone finally take an ambitious approach. The first act wasn’t perfect, but it experimented—now I can see Spurrier hitting a stride that blends the familiar with something fresh. The art is fantastic, too. Give this a chance, and let the creative team push the boundaries.

The first act was an overextended piece of crap. Trying to Monday morning quarterback it to hype up the next run ain’t it. Most of the audience is gone. And si won’t be too far behind.

maybe its because I'm comparing to last few story arcs where it was incomprehensible mess. But this was a MASSIVE step up from the previous story because the language is easier to understand and no longer any cosmic meta physical babble. I think if people want to read the flash, this is the issue and just disregard the previous issues.
