Once again Williamson has provided a great story, setting the Flash and his friends for a truly epic conflict with the Rogues. Also, I love Scott Kolins artwork. His style really suits the world of the Flash and brings Williamson's story to life. The Flash #34 is proof that The Flash is back on track as one of DC's finest titles. Read Full Review

This issue gave us a nice bow on top of the final Zoom package and FINALLY CONCLUDES the force powers storyline. It went on for WAY too long, but the story has made sudden leaps and bounds ahead. Im excited for the Flash once again. Read Full Review

Flash manages to have so much going on and yet also makes the reader feel as though none of it matters. This issue feels like it has been more preoccupied with setting up the Rogue storyline that is yet to come rather than finish the storyline we have been dealing with for the past few months. It is a huge disservice to this book and this is a lazy issue. Perhaps inner workings of the universe is to blame for the sorry state of this issue but regardless of the reason, this issue is bad. Exciting stuff. Barry and Hunter face an unstoppable threat, and something’s gotta give. Unexpectedly emotional turn at the end that was a really nice surprise. So much is going on with all of the Flash family and you can tell Williamson is a hardcore fan of previous Flash runs. Even as one threat ends it just leads right into another one. Looks like Barry isn’t gonna have time to stop for a breather. Williamson is an absolute machine on The Flash

"I believe" Great issue. Awesome showdown with the Black Flash, surprisingly Kolins' art worked here, and the stuff with Zolomon was really satisfying. But damn, continuity with the Year of the Villain is completely out of whack here. How can Flash be here, since he was in space when Perpetua gained full power? Unless what Steadfast had was a vision of the future and not of the present. Frankly, I don't care much about this sort of thing when I get a good story. And both Flash and Justice League have some good story arcs right now, so I can live with a little inconsistency.

Prelude: Williamson has a lot to prove this issue. Bringing in another Force and it's the conclusion to Death of the Speed Force. The Good: This is Hunter's issue and it shows. Ultimately he's the hero and the twists are based on him or his actions. That said I do like these twists in the issue though their impact may be small due to the nature of comics. The Bad: Avery and Wally are barely in this. Everything that has happened with them in this entire arc has been about one issue's worth. Continuity is a bit of a problem but all of these main Justice Leaguers books have that fault, so since that's editorial I should just ignore that. Conclusion: A passable issue. Kolins' art was ok but nothing to mention in either sectio n. It's a shame that this arc fell apart at the end because it was doing so well at the start. more

Has quite a bit of continuity errors. Art itself about 7/10. That doom symbol is doing more harm then good by showing up in the books. But with the story we are presented by, actually exciting to see what’s to come both with the Rogues and with what went down with Eobard. The result of Hunter felt forced. With all of its faults, would recommend this book, only for what is to come.
