Readers will discover exactly how a tie-in book should be as THE FLASH #780 balances well between the current story with just enough references to the WAR FOR EARTH-3 while keeping his own story afloat. This issue sets up future Flash stories and ties things up from where we left off in the previous Flash issue while leaving some mystery and drama.  However, the actual War For Earth-3 parts of this book feel like they come out of nowhere and don't feel like they do that much for the actual event. Overall, the exposition just went with broad strokes to keep things as vague as possible. However, I can't wait for the next issue of The Flash, I just hope that the War For Earth-3 does more in its other tie-in books. Read Full Review

Did not expect anything about this crossover to mention or tie-into Josh Williamson's upcoming plans. This definitely divided its time between being an epilogue for the previous storyline as well as a brief tangential stopgap for the event itself. Not too knowledgeable on this incarnation of Johnny Quick for Andy Schmidt's Crime Syndicate run, but he and Mirror Master are fun. Jeremy Adam's as always nails the character of Wally West and the shoulder tap KO of Johnny Quick was the best part of the issue.

It was an enjoyable read but, very vaguely tied in to the earth 3 story. Also, just dumb that they let the guy get away.

This is just another issue of Flash. I expected this to actually be integral to the War for Earth-3 stuff. And I guess it is, since something important does happen here. But if you're not reading the Flash, you're going to be very annoyed with the majority of this issue focusing on what's going on in Flash. This really reminds me of the tie-ins of old, for better or worse.

Decent entry. Lots of news arcs are set up in this one. Overall this will read better as a whole when put together with the whole arc in place.

¿Qué pasa con este número? Bueno se nota a leguas que es un “tien-in” disfrazado de parte N.3. Un evento que en sus dos primeras partes han demostrado que puede estar a la altura, solo si se lo propone y queda bien escrito. El comic empieza la presentacion de Jhonny Quick llegando a “nuestra tierra”, el cual es enviado por Waller en busca de la muy famosa caminadora cósmica. Podemos ver lo que continua del comic 799, donde una madre busca a sus hijos, quienes vienen saliendo de su ultima lucha junto a Wally, lo cual no aporta absolutamente nada a lo que esta pasando en tierra 3,aunque es poco, no es necesario para lo que seguía a continuación. Después de unas viñetas totalmente innecesarias entre Wally y su acom pañante, tenemos una intervención al museo de Flash de parte de Jhonny "el lento" Quick, el cual nos brinda la demostración de que tener Speed Forces no es sinónimo de ser rápido. A este personaje se le une Mirror Master, con el motivo de evitar que Quick robe la caminadora cósmica, la cual siempre es hurtada por Quick; esto debido a la sin logica pelea de parte de Wally y Mirro Master. Ok, teniendo un resumen de lo que es el comic entramos en nuestro review en donde lo veremos por lo bueno, lo malo y lo @#$%^&* Lo Bueno. La relación de Dark Crisis en los comics de editorial. Aunque el evento sea la invasión a tierra 3 por parte de Waller, se nota que ella sabe lo que sucede con The Empthy hand y la Great Darkness (por alguna razón mágica o porque un hechicero lo hizo jeje… gracias Shenna). Debido a ese acontecimiento Waller demuestra que siempre tiene un plan para todo; y necesita ganar a cualquier costo. Segundo punto: Mirror Master. Se roba el show desde que aparece con sus dialogos (lo mejor escrito del comcic) demostrando que los Rogues pueden matar a cualquier velocista si se lo proponen. Lo Malo. Punto primero: Su final.Un The Flash muy sin cerebro para con sus acciones y con sus dialogos . Punto segundo: Los colores no son lo mejores, ya que desentonan con el arte de Will, pero sentimos que es culpa del editor por aprobar semejante cosa. Punto tercero: El arte de Will Conrad es extraño y muchas veces parece que lo hizo con prisa(Por favor vean la pagina 4 y la niña con sus ojos en modo camaleón jajaja)., pero esto no pasa con los tres protagonistas Lo @#%^&* DC continúa desperdiciando personajes y historias en pleno 2021 cuando no tienen las mejores ventas (Y por comics como estos se nota porque solo venden Batman). Una historia que pude ser bastante llamativa en aspectos visuales y entre las peleas de los dos velocistas. Pero lamentablemente en este numero nuestro amigo Jeremy Adams los hace ver como dos completos soquetes sin cerebro, que no analizan bien su entorno y las consecuencias de todo lo que se avecina, en especial The Flash; a quien le roban uno de los ítems más importantes de su historia y solo pide dormir porque viene cansado (Dude WTH). Realmente un comic que no da mas que un panel donde vemos a Amanda explicando que sabe sobre la Dark Crisis y listo, eso fue lo único importante de este "tremendo comic".
