Jan 30, 2019I have been waiting for this Annual since it was first announced that this is where we would start to see the events of Heroes In Crisis reflected in The Flash and I wasn't disappointed. It has been rather strange to not see those events not reflected here before now. Jan 30, 2019Overall, I really enjoyed reading this comic. It sets up the different story plots thatThe Flash will include and even story arcs from other comics. From this comic, it seems as if future stories will have a much darker tone. Plus, Barry still has to deal with the Force dilemma he learned about in issue #63. Feb 01, 2019Next, to end the issue, Godspeed meets up with his mysterious and unknown master. We have no idea who it is. But the last shot of the book has me intrigued. It was truly an excellent moment. This whole book is fantastic. This is the Flash I love. Williamson hits all the right notes here and it's great. Hopefully this new direction sticks. Comic Crusaders - Kevin Given
Feb 04, 2019This issue tears at our heart-strings as we look at the speedsters losses in this issue. It hints at crossover with other titles like Teen Titans and Young Justice and the story promises that it will be continued…but not just in the next issue of Flash. It will take some time to get the entire story so the creative team must have something real big conjured up over the next few months. Godspeeds actions put the power in play in a strong way and we don't learn who has hired him to gather all of the speedsters forces. We are truly stumped as to who has been trying to take…something from our heroes and we're never quite sure as to what he's actually taken. This story is hitting all the right beats, except for the nasty art. Luckily the artist seemed to put all his effort into the most important panel.

A sad issue that leaves you with more questions than answers. But it was a fast and enjoyable read and the art wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be.

Weaksauce issue. Bart didn't talked to Barry, and nothing was explained. There was no goodbye for Wally, just Iris screeming.

While I enjoy the art, would have preferred to know during which story arc this issue takes place. We get another issue where we have to find an excuse why Wallace has to be mad at Barry! He was working the case, it wasn't like he knew Wally died and weeks have passed. Besides from what we have seen in Rebirth, they don't have much of a connection. I am a reader who started when Rebirth started so seeing Iris break down like that probably would have meant something if we actually saw them hanging out more! Calling it now that the guy at the end is Future Barry

Thank god this was better than issue 63. While not great, at least we didn't focus on brand new underdeveloped characters for the entire issue. Just the slightly developed Godspeed! Plus, Wally West's death finally impacts this series. I didn't really care though? I'm sure if I had read stuff with Wally outside of Rebirth, I would have. But I didn't. So meh, Iris freaking out didn't do anything for me.

This was better because it wasn't about the forces, but worse because I don't care about Godspeed and I don't care about whoever that is from the future.
