Deathstroke #43

Deathstroke #43 is a good read and very entertaining. I enjoyed the book as a whole, and I'm really liking the emerging rivalry between Slade and Damian. Priest gives us a shocking ending thanks to the actions of Red Arrow and I'm eager to see how it all plays out in the next issue! Read Full Review

In the end, this concluding chapter of The Terminus Agenda proved a better read than the rest of the story, which felt overall rushed and lacking substance. Its almost as if Priest and Glass only had the solid idea of Deathstroke and Robin squaring off once again, with the Teen Titans caught in the middle, but had to pad out the entire story before getting to the meat of it in the final issue. Priest has kept Deathstroke a great read since Rebirth kicked off with so many twists and turns, it's hard to see where he's going next. This next arc looks to be another unpredictable one based on the final page of this issue. However it plays out, this book is clearly in solid hands with a creator who is not afraid to push the boundaries to keep readers guessing. Read Full Review

Priest writes a fitting end to an interesting story that began with the capture of a villain but may have created a new one in the process. I highly recommend this story for fans of the Teen Titans and Damian Wayne. Read Full Review

The art is pretty great on this title as well. When the story gets muddled in the middle, the art does the same, but the last few pages make it all worth it. I don't know where Priest is going to take it from here but I was not expecting that ending at all. And that's a good thing. Read Full Review

On the other hand: he got shot in the eye with an arrow by a world-class marksman. Even for Deathstroke, that has to be hard to bounce back from. Plus, Priest teased Deathstroke #44 as "Funeral for a Friend." That can't be good. Read Full Review

While there are certainly some exciting and shocking moments to this issue, it does feel like there was a lot of padding in it, not to mention that it took a crossover and a bunch of issues to do it, but all in all I enjoyed the art and thought that this issue was probably the strongest out of this story. “The Terminus Agenda” was overall highly inconsistent. The ending was stunning – seriously the last page is a jaw-dropper. However, getting to this moment was a long and bumpy road. The story lacked a natural cohesion and at times felt forced. And while this tale will have some major repercussions moving forward in both titles, I've found myself more interested in the fall out than actual story itself. Great issue! Enjoyed the artwork and some of the reveals! Didn’t feel like a Deathstroke issue, besides the scene change panels.

good issue, but the end kills it for me Kid Flash and Damian are the only teen titans related to DS, one of the two should kill slade so this way the act of killing would have some impact or maybe even better, his son, Jericho or Rose emiko doing it its just a dumb plot twist plus, hahahaha, the guy survived a bullet in the head, a arrow would not kill him he's 100% not dead and if he is dead, jeez still, there are some good stuff here the art is amazing

Good story. Stupid ending that doesn't make sense if you think about it. 1) how does he get hit by an arrow of all things?! She just happened to catch him on an off day?! 2) its an arrow. And he heals. And is the world's most deadly assasin. And she is a teenage green arrow!! 3) he heals 4) you should never have a comic character die from a gun or *ahem* an arrow. You have to look past the fact that they could be sniped out before they knew what hit them to even begin to consider comics even slightly realistic. So an arrow should not have even been in the discussion. 5) aaannnnnddddd... He heals. That doesn't even seem like it should do all that damage to Deathstroke. A well placed arrow takes down the terminator. Yay girl power!! ! They can do stuff too!!! more
