Mar 19, 2024Batman/Superman: World's Finest #25 delivers on a story that proves why Lex Luthor and Joker are to be known as World's Vilest. Their pairing is one that shows why having chemistry is not always a good thing. The type of chemistry Lex and Joker share is one where you know that this pairing is doomed to fail, as it does in this story. That led to great examination of Batman and Superman's greatest villains while setting the foundation of the next big story arc of this series. Read Full Review

Mar 19, 2024Batman/Superman: World's Finest #25 is a fun interlude issue that tells the origin of Lex Luthor and Joker's first team-up. While this story comes across as an enjoyable one-off, one wonders if there will be a connection somewhere down the line as Mark Waid and the creative team head toward this summer's big event Absolute Power. Batman-News - Jackson Luken
Mar 19, 2024The debut of Batman and Superman's most iconic villains in what is usually one of the best DC titles is sadly a bit of a disappointment. With Superman and Batman largely absent, the story relies on Joker and Lex to carry it, but they're given very little to do as they follow a treasure map from one scene to the next. There are moments where their personalities shine through, but they are too few and aren't what drive the story. The backup offers an exciting glimpse of the upcoming arc, which hopefully looks to be a return to form for the series. Read Full Review

Mar 19, 2024Batman/ Superman: Worlds Finest #25 is a nice spiritual follow-up to issues #18 and #19 wherein we see one of their enemies first meetings. Its no grand spectacle, but it has been a while since weve had a Lex Luthor and Joker adventure even if it is just breaking into a heros hideout. Read Full Review
