Batman Secret Files #3 gives readers an insight into our Dark Knight, and a behind the scenes look at his daily work in Gotham. The city would not do well without him. In this oversized one-shot, we flash back to the very start of James Tynion IV's run on Batman to look deeper at the five assassins who showed up in Gotham to target Bruce Wayne's new mission. It's an odd concept, not helped by the fact that the book is delayed and the plot has moved on, but DC has assembled an all-star cast of creators. Read Full Review

I think this is the weakest of the Secret Files issues so far. There are a couple of good stories and a Joker War prelude, but most of them were forgettable. The art was good for the most part, but for $4.99, there are better ways to get your Batman than this. Read Full Review

I really enjoyed this issue and I appreciated the fact that it was not a throwaway issue, but rather an issue which ties into the storyline of the main Batman title. Additionally, the story introduces some background information on other characters we have seen appear in earlier issues of the Batman title, such as Mr. Teeth and Gunsmith. Of all the stories in the book, I felt that the Mr. Teeth story was the weakest, because it felt like it did not have much going on for it. However, the other storylines in this issue were very enjoyable and had some moments that should not be missed. Among them is the Joker meeting with Deathstroke to discuss a potential deal, with a surprise appearance from Punchline! If you are interested in the 'Joker W ar' storyline, then I would recommend picking up this issue because it shows you some of the plot threads which take place in Batman. Not all of the artwork in this issue appealed to my tastes, but it remains a solid issue nonetheless. 8.5/10. more

This comic has some interestings moments, what Joker said to Deathstroke give you some idea about the all Joker War stuff.
