For a series that has revived our collective faith in the power and efficacy of Batman comics, there may be no single issue which has encapsulated what exactly makes a great Batman comic more readily than Dark Patterns #11. It's got the moody, haunting atmospherics of TAS, the methodical, wounded detective work of 2022's "The Batman, and the thrilling cat-and-mouse chases of the Nolan movies, all while remaining something totally unique and undeniably comic-bookish. This issue was a truly wonderful return to form, bringing the series back to the glory of its first story arc. The twist of who the culprit is, I honestly DID NOT SEE coming!!!! Absolutely BRILLIANT!!! There were so many great moments throughout this issue. I’m not sure which I found more compelling, the interactions between Gordon and Lynns, Gordon and Batman, or (my favorite) Bruce and Alfred. The scenes with Batman running over the details of the case within his mind were phenomenal. The state in which he cannot see between the present and past were so well done. And the art for all of it was absolutely spectacular!!! I’m going to be so sad when this series comes to its conclusion. This has absolutely been a joy to read and collect. And in my honest opinion, if DC Comics was actually serious about doing an actual BOLD reboot…… it SHOULD have been THIS series and creative team to rebuild the main ongoing Batman title. I want more of THIS!!! Absolutely looking forward to the next and final issue. This series truly deserves a deluxe hardcover collected edition. more

It blows my mind that some people don’t like Hayden Sherman’s art. If any series these year deserves a deluxe hardcover it is this one. Getting this and absolute Wonder Woman at the same time has been a gift. Sherman must have had the first six issues done upfront or something.

Wow! I can't believe anyone would have a problem with Hayden Sherman’s art. Hopefully it's not a large group? But i guess everyone has their own preference? ....I absolutely agree! I was really hoping this series would get a deluxe HC.

It's another solid issue of this series. Between the art and the grounded style Batman. It's refreshing.
