An artist's delight on every page, and a beautiful final page rendition of the Most Interesting Man in the World. An issue that would fit in well with Denny O'Neil and Neal Adams' stories from the '70's.

Immortal Hulk #36 (Ewing, Bennet) feels like a filler issue, a side-effect of writing for the trade. Still a cut above the standard issue these days, but hard to appreciate in its own right.

I was sad to see Savage's time in the sun as an admired public figure be so short-lived. Still, we're on the move again storywise and what happens next is anyone's guess. Can't wait to find out!

A stunning and brutal climax to the war between the Hulk and Roxxon Corp. Very satisfying to see some people get what they deserve! The final reveal might knock you out of your chair, so maybe read this one while sitting on the floor.

The best issue since #1, and by tying together some of the threads, it improves the story featured in the two issues that preceded it.

That said, in a book with so many important plotlines going on, these kinds of character pieces/breaks in the action arent my favorite. The cover alone, beautiful Alex Ross piece that it was, just screamed pass, for me, but Im glad I picked it up. This one redeems itself by being so dark and well written.

Batman vs Ra's al Ghul #3 (Adams, Robins): Beautiful artwork and odd, whimsical story, greatly weighed down by lots of unnecessary dialogue that doesn't actually make much sense.

Batman vs. Ra's Al Ghul #1 is beathless and exciting action from Neal Adams, and a mystery that could go in any direction. Inject Adams art directly into my veins.
