Lastly, the art was great. Full ten points because of the awesome coloring. The style was slightly different than the cartoon, but certainly not in a bad way. My absolute favorite, though, was the cover! I loved the cover and the variants included! It was such a unique take on Princess Bubblegum and I am absolutely in love with it. I feel like I'm going to buy this book purely for the cover.

Like I said, I can't wait for the next installment. This is a comic that I am PERMANENTLY adding to my list. I recommend it for sure.

I'd recommend this book to all parents for their children, especially if the kids are fans of the Gumball television show. Even without ever having watched the show, this issue of Gumball is fun, family-friendly read and can serve as a small treat for any child. In my quest to find more children-friendly comic books, my findings have been less than satisfactory, but Gumball will definitely be an addition to my collection.

This book caters to many different types of fans and certainly has potential. However, I assume it's directed at children and if it continues to do what it's doing right now, it may become very successful with young boys and girls.

Honestly, I just love it. By the time I'm done writing this review, I'll have read Archie #1 seven times. Waid hasgiven the characters so much heart. He's made them brand-new. These characters are going to bring in new readers and are going to renew the love of old ones. I have high, high hopes for the series. Any worries I had about the reboot are down the drain. If I could give this book an eleven out of ten, I would. I'm telling you right now: if you haven't picked up Archie #1, go to the store or get on Comixology or whatever you normally do, and freaking read it.

Overall, I think this series had a lot of potential to bring in readers, but there's just no real introduction. It's not a very reader-friendly book and probably won't appeal to anyone that hasn't already read Astronauts in Troublebooks before. For this reason, and this reason only, I have rated the book lower for plot and dialogue. I think Charlie Adlard's name will do the book some good, but if itcan't become a bit more friendly in the next issue, I can't say it'll be a popular recommendation.

Perhaps this comic is trying to restart the entire Ben 10 universe and redo it. Even if that's the case, I am not very fond of the idea. And if they are trying to do that, I honestly don't think it is being taken in the right direction.

And also, YAY FOR FOREIGN FEMALE PROTAGONISTS!

The art was exceptionally colorful. The art style and font changed for every new story and I enjoyed them all. I especially enjoyed the diversity in the characters' designs. They were tall, short, thick, thin, light, dark, long-haired, or short-haired. Props to the artist. Ten out of ten. Overall I think the comichas tons of potential and could be used as an effective mechanism to bring in more viewers to the web show. I look forward to see it progress.

Overall, Super Secret Crisis War was a nice read. It's certainly interesting and definitely appeals to nostalgia. I think this it's a great idea on Cartoon Network's part. I especially enjoyed the little twist at the end.

Lastly, the art of the book is beautiful. I love the style and the facial expressions are perfect. All the characters have cute costumes that highlight the stereotypical aspect of superheroism. No overly sexualized females, either. The ladies have perfectly normal cleavage. The only problem was that my copy kind of looks like a bad scan. The gamma correction needs to be fixed digitally, Other than that, excellent lines and colors.

I thoroughly enjoyed Fetch. It's been a while since I actually enjoyed a comic for the sake of enjoying it instead of out of necessity. I recommend this book to readers of all shapes, sizes, colors, and ages. Fetch is a definitely a family read and has the potential to become a timeless classic. I hope to purchase a bundle or trade hard copy in the future when the saga is complete.

Anyway, to all those who have lived through Infinity and eagerly await the rest of Inhumanity"or those of you who are wondering whether to read Inhumanity or not: you should read this book. It is well worth your time and I honestly think Inhumanity is going to be a great story. I just hope they collect Infinity soon so I can get on with my life.

To conclude, this book is definitely for mature readers. I feel as though it is targeted mostly to men, so I will prescribe it as such. If you are religious, be aware that the book may contain blasphemous themes. If you like religiously-themed books that are complex and interesting, this is definitely for you.

This comic is going to get a lot of readers. I know that because my fellow MTG enthusiast friends are quite interested in it. Especially with the new Theros deck out, people will be excited to see a comic book companion. I will definitely be reading the next issue. It's good for when I'm through MTG withdrawal or something.

To conclude, I would recommend this book to pretty much anyone. I can definitely say that I will be looking forward to the next installment.

Not only is it interesting to kids, but the dialogue in the comic is educational, too. Mr. Peabody is often shown giving Sherman little historical facts about each time period they visit. The word choice is perfect because it does not use words that are too big or complicated for children to understand, but it written so the dog still sounds like an intellectual.

The art for the book is well-suited for its story. Detailed and mesmerizing, the art captures the emotions and feel of the book in a unique way. The colors are well-matched to each scene and the characters are realistically varied. The book features people of all shapes, sizes,and colors. Each character has a physical appearance that is reminiscent of his or her personality. I applaud the artist, as the art is one of the most important factors in keeping the reader engaged in the story.Negative Spaceis one of the most engaging books I have read as of recent, and I recommend all FGS readers to go out and pick it up. I, for one, have already added it to my pull list.

I think the art fits right in with the vibe of the story. It encompasses thehumor of the book by exaggeratingthe characters' physical features. The facial expressions are especially exaggerated with Jared's giant drops of sweat flying around and Kill Strike's ridiculous makeup. All in all, I recommend this book to readers of all types. It's a light read and it'll only last four issues, so don't miss out!

Overall, the first issue of the Powerpuff Girls managed to live up to my expectations. It was cute, simple, a good length, and it even managed to get a chuckle or two out of me. I'm tempted to even purchase the comic for my baby cousin's birthday.

Wow! With IDW publishing all these comics from old Cartoon Network shows, I can't help but hope for Courage the Cowardly Dog or Dexter's Laboratory. All in all, I am really happy to have these old characters coming back from my childhood as comic books!

Prey for Angels#1 is currently available on Comixology here. It's a fantastic read for anyone into horror, mystery, historical fiction, or all three. (Keep in mind this book is not for children.) I will definitely be recommending it to my friends.

I would be insane to say anything negative about the art. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Terry and Rachel Dodson's art. The couple beautifully portrays vintage Californian scenes and somehow makes Vera sexy without being sexualized. I am currently reading Marvel's Princess Leia series, which also features Terry Dodson's art and I can't say that his art doesn't perfectly fit the book. I would not have picked anyone else to have drawn either comic. Red One will most certainly be added to my pull list.

Overall, Rochelle the Teen Cockroach is exactly what I expect from indie comics: otherworldliness, style, relatability, and weird new villains. Mainstream superhero comics have lost their relatability in recent years. They are about extravagant and impossible heroes who swoop in and save the universe from unimaginable horrors. Their personal lives and internal struggles are lost in the world of big-budget cinema and destruction-heavy action. Rochelle brings back some of that classic relatability to comics, as indie comics should.

This is a great comic for all ages and that is a feat that is difficult to accomplish. I give a figurative pat on the back to the makers.

I am so incredibly happy about this comic coming out because it would be so much fun to read them with my little brother. He's really into ninjas, samurais, and swords, so this is a good way to get him to read. Not to mention it'll give me an excuse to buy more comics. Anyway, I totally recommend Samurai Jack to all you Cartoon Network enthusiasts out there. Or if you just really miss Samurai Jack, because I know Scott (owner of Florida Geek Scene) really likes the series, this is perfect. A great family read, too.

Dialogue is rare as it was in the cartoon. Usually it is Jack's adversaries that are speaking. The lines were well written, short, and to the point. I had fun trying to make up different voices for the characters in my head. There was also that subtle humor I so well remember from the cartoon show.My favorite part was when Samurai Jack's iconic little pony tail unraveled to reveal some pretty majestic hair.

The art was particularlybeautiful. The inking was especially well done, as it was defined, yet not too thick. The coloring was very artistically done. The color palettes perfectly matched the mood of each scene andbrought out the characters in a unique way. Although, in some panels the facial expressions were not clear or exaggerated enough. However, this makes only a minor difference. The artist made noticeably good use of eyes and eyebrows in the characters' facial expressions. Sometimes it was subtle, and other times exaggerated. I appreciate that kind of creativity and give many props to the artist. Overall, the art tied together a rather well-rounded book. I expect that fansof the TV series will be well satisfied with the comic.

Overall, Sovereign has some way to go. There are the obvious mistakes and the not so obvious mistakes. The simple visual and structural problems need to be fixed before the comic can begin to attempt to reach full creative potential.

Overall, I am disappointed with Sovereign #2. It had potential and it could just do a lot better. I can't say I particularly want to read the next book, but I still hold on to the hope that I will see something better when I do.

The plot was fun and exciting, but it dragged on in some places. There was sometimes too much going on at one time to keep up with all the lingo. The characters were the best, though. They were witty, wise, funny, cute, clueless, charming, sassy, resourceful, or daring. Overall, I can definitely see Spaced Out going somewhere. Itjust hasn't gotten quite there yet.

Overall, I would recommend this book to fans of strange or mystical horror, Hack/Slash, or anyone looking for something a little different. The story is definitely not for children. I look forward to seeing Stabbity Bunny progress. It holds a lot of potential to develop a cult following.

I believe the Steven Universe comic book has the potential to be a successful spin-off of the show. The comic book industry is extremely important in pop culture these days. If done properly, it could bring in new viewers and even become popular with the current viewers of the show. It just needs to appeal to new readers more.

Lastly, the dialogue in Steven Universe was reminiscent of the show. The letters were of varying fonts, colors, and shapes. They captured the reader's attention and were placed in ways that reflected the story and complimented the art styles. The only reason I have given it an eight is because in some stories, the dialogue was either distracting or difficult to follow. Overall, however, the plots, art, and dialogue flowed together into one Steven Universe masterpiece.

I have high hopes for this series. As I said, I believe it has the potential to be a very successful and creative indie book and I look forward to seeing it evolve. It's a well-rounded book that caters to a wide range of ages. I can't wait to read issue #2 and see the changes.

Need I mention the dialogue? I give it all an A+. Johnny Bravo is absolutely hilarious and the girls' reactions were even better. The robot was dressed in this weird Elvis looking outfit, so his robotic insults were even funnier! I find it amusing that the writers gave the robot such personality. He was this confused, desperate bucket of bolts just trying to find a champion for his master, but he was stuck chasing this strange blonde man with a half- brain.

This has to have been my favorite Super Secret Crisis War installment yet. It deserves a full ten out of ten for all its worth and effort. IDW and Cartoon Network really outdid themselves this time.

Lastly, I thoroughly enjoyed the plot. Super! definitely took its time in developing the story, but certainly not in a bad way. I was able to savor the world around the main character, Paula A.K.A Blitz. The characters are all very likable and relatable. They are all hilarious and adorable at the same time. And for those of you who like plot twists, there is one hell of an ending to this issue! It killed me a little on the inside to be left with a cliff-hanger like that especially because this book is fifty-some pages long! I look forward to be able to get my hands on the next issue just to see what happens next!

On to the plot. Last issue left the reader with one hell of an ending. It was arguably the best part in the issue. This issue gave us new characters, a new story, and a new cliffhanger. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and I honestly think Super! deserves more attention. I'm currently contemplating the thought of cosplaying one of the characters.

Seriously, this comic deserves more readers. It needs a mega cult-following. I volunteer to be the president of its fan club.

I am thinking about ordering a hard copy and a poster from the Unlikely Heroes Studio web store, which you can access here. Both are very cheap and it's a great way to support the creators of this fantastic comic. T-shirts are available, too and those are a bargain compared to normal t-shirt prices. Seriously, though. These days, t-shirts are, like, thirty bucks a pop. I'm grateful for my petite size because I can just buy seven dollar tees from the JC Penny tween boys' section. Lucky for you, a Super! tee is only eight bucks.

I've saved the best for last. If you've read my reviews for the first four issues ofSuper!, you'd know that I obsess over the art in this comic. Recently, I realized that even the art is a parody of modern comic book art. But really,Super!‘s art is colorful, clean, detailed, and pretty. I decided that I would buy a poster from the comic's website. I'd recommend this comic to anyone.

Another thing that I would like to address is the length of the comic. I appreciate a comic book that has well-timed endings and comes in a reasonable length. The Agency is never too short, nor does it ever bore me with its length. It is long enough to feel satisfaction and interesting enough to not get boring. I do hope The Agency will continue to gain popularity. It's a comic book that deserves to last.

Overall, I think The Amazing World of Gumball #1 is one of the best Cartoon Network comic book companions I have seen so far. It's a good read for any little Gumball fans and perhaps maybe even any big Gumball fans.

The story is strange in a good way. The concept of it is completely unique from anything I have ever seen before and frankly, I think I would really enjoy it. I am currently contemplating the thought of whether I should purchase the trades or not.All in all, I think this comic deserves the come back it is getting. The Maxx is certainly not for everyone. I think it has its own niche in the comic book world and I also think it successfully entertains the audience it drew in. I would definitely recommend that readers check it out because you never know what you'll end up falling in love with.

Speaking of language, just as everything else in this book is, the dialogue is unique as well. I always love when creators change the fonts of the dialogue to represent the voices of the characters. That is done quite a bit in the Maxx. The only complaint I have is that sometimes the font can be hard to read.

Is this book for everyone? Probably not. I can't promise you that you'll like it. It's not dramatic or action-filled. It's not thrilling. However, I can promise you that The Tipping Point will offer you something unique and individual. It offers the reader a certain perspective and a different experience than what you normally have reading comics. It's new and fresh. People like that, so I recommend anyone give it a try.

Lastly, the dialogue of the characters is the perfect combination of modern English and archaic language. It fits whatever time period or realm the story takes place in. What was cool was that I was able to imagine different voices and accents for the two men. This is a sign of great writing.

Also, I totally just found out that this comic is based on a video game. Cool, cool. Probably should have Googled that beforehand. It must be a good game if it inspired a comic book to be made for it. I look forward to the next issue.

In the end, this comic totally accomplished its goal, which I would assume would be to promote the game. I say well done.

Like I said in the beginning, this comic has a lot of potential. Every problem Trish Out of Water may have can be fixed and/or improved. I hope to see Aspen make improvements and make a comeback with the next issue.

The dialogue is the best. The comic probably has some of the best dialogue I've ever seen. It's extremely fluid and very natural. I could practically hear real people uttering the words that the characters said.
