I was enjoying this run until the last couple pages of issue 8. Seeing Juliet turn invisible wasn't where I personally wanted the story to go, I would have liked if instead the writers had continued the group therapy thing until that arc pretty much died out and Peter and Miles would have a few new friends to show for it but move on to new things other than that. But, I figured I'd just look past Juliet's new powers because how much of a plot point could it possibly be? Then it just went on, and on, and on. This was probably the weakest issue so far. I dont mind the new character, but I didnt get this book for mainly her story.
I can’t even be mad because this book is so nothing that I won’t even remember it in a few days. Sometimes taking a month off is better than a four dollar filler book.
"Moira was always a mutant with reality-resetting powers" was part of a really great story, so it largely gets a pass for not fitting very well with decades of continuity. "Tiny faeries rule Central Park" is not. They're not interesting and they don't fit at all.
Painfully twee story that feels like Greg was in the mood to revisit the Faerie Court from Gargoyles but decided not to actually do it in his Gargoyles comics. The art is good, the stuff with the Electros is good, the fairies are annoying.
