Incredible Hulk #29 reveals the origins of the Mother of Horrors and how she factors into the greater cosmology of the Marvel Comics universe. Whether or not this addition to the Marvel cosmology will really stick depends on the readers, but her story is told well thanks to Adam Gorham's art and the writing in Hulk's narration. The action and reveals near the end do a solid job of setting up the big clash for Hulk and Eldest in the next issue. Read Full Review

Finding words to express how despicable this is is a difficult task, but the indescribable deconstruction of it transcends any limits of a bad, generic, or even boring story. It's always going to be the same: they want to erase the Immortal Hulk, and this is being a letter of contempt for the run, especially when we know it's aimed exclusively at Joe Bennett, not Al Ewing, since Bennett was removed from his profession without having done anything to deserve it. One thing that gives me hope is that since that writer was removed from DC for having reached the level of venting her hatred (the famous "good" hatred) on someone who was murdered, perhaps in the future, when that incompetent tool named Phillip Kennedy Johnson is removed from his prmore
