The saga of Air Raid comes front and center with We Are Yesterday taking shape. Waids writing guides readers through the dark masquerade. Moore and Bonvillain construct the misleading maze a young hero walks. The results push events into a past readers wont want to forget! Read Full Review
Look out Apex Luthor, Martian mind-powered Grodd is here and definitely going to be a problem for the DC Universe as a whole with Justice League Unlimited #6. Hes pulled off a time heist for the Legion of Doom and how he did it was just despicable. Read Full Review
This issue doesn't actually advance the plot much, as we're still at the same point we were at the end of last issue, but it adds some truly essential context to the story that adds a lot of stakes to the overall story. This will continue into an oversized annual, where we're headed for a truly epic battle of past vs. future. Read Full Review

This beautifully drawn delayed start to the We Are Yesterday crossover plot almost makes up for lost time by explaining everything that has and will happen. Gorilla Grodd's expository narration can be a bit much, but it is written well enough to stay interesting. Air Wave is centered as the story's emotional core, which keeps things somewhat grounded with so many Justice League members floating around, even if he can come off as a bit dense. Read Full Review

Part 2 of the World's Finest and JLU crossover. This is fantastic stuff. Waid continues injecting life into non Absolute DC. Grodd is a favourite of mine. This is the best version of him we've had in a while. The manipulation of Air Wave is just beautiful villainy.
I love having Waid write Grodd again 30 years later in the JLU’s version of “Yesterday’s Enterprise “. The stakes are high, even if this chapter doesn’t quite hit the high notes of Part 1. I loved the presumed nod to Absolute Martian Manhunter with Grodd wearing what appears to be a colorful Martian Vision helmet.
