Every issue of this story seems to up the ante and this issue is no different. Kyle Starks does a great job of building and keeping suspense, all well humanizing the characters, even the killers. Plot
Lucinda talks to Cece on the phone and explains that she's out of state because she can't listen to Mark anymore; she knows he's the killer. Cece reveals that the Home Intruder isn't actually a serial killer, but a vigilante who murders criminals.

But a new killer called The Murderizer starts murdering people out of control, so he's not a serial killer, just an unbridled killer. Cece tells the media that this new killer's murders aren't key because they're random. The Murderizer goes after her.

Daniel, the Home Intruder, and Mark meet at Cece's front door. Daniel reveals to Mark that Ladykiller's name appeared on the list God gave him. The two start fighting and break down Cece's door, as The Murderizer is suffocating her. The three begin to fight, but The Murderizer is powerful, but not as powerful as Cece's father, the ex-sheriff, who knocks him unconscious.

The police arrive and take the three killers into custody. Mark tells Daniel that he broke the rules of their deal, and now he has to kill him and surpass his murder record.

Cece's father complains to the police chief about leaving his daughter without police custody, and when he turns around, someone kidnaps Cece.

Cece appears with a shackle around her neck, chained in a basement. At that moment, the fearsome Hole Killer (who has 57 confirmed murders since 1989, and no one knows who he is) reveals that he's going to start his killing spree again to improve his record.

A shocking final chapter of this first volume leaves everything open for a sequel. It's a story with such a dizzying pace that you won't be able to stop reading how this perverse and sick competition ends, one that will truly scare you with its potential.

Art
It has an interesting noir tone reminiscent of 1980s/1990s comics, playing with shadows and a color palette that highlight the violence of these killers. It's sometimes gloomy, then filled with light, and a roller coaster of suspense.

Summary
Daniel is about to settle the score with Mark while a new killer is chasing Cece. This is a shocking and exciting conclusion to the first volume. more
