This book goes to nowhere. King and DC are just wasting our time. "City of Bane" is ending and all we got is our beloved Alfred dead and so is Bane. DEADS FOR NOTHING but vacations in the beach with Bat and Cat... I was on King's side, even when I really disliked those ridiculous Gotham superbrothers. I still think "War of Jokes and Riddles" is an Instant Classic. I even loved the non-wedding... Then, all started to crumble till this very day when every new issue is a Real "Knightmare": getting worse and worse, more slow, boring, and ridiculous. People reviews says 1 when critics say 10, but we know critics (and some people) make good money for his tender reviews. That's why I really respect Joshua McDonald from Batman News.

Yes, I gave #83 a 1 and #84 a 10. Allow me to explain myself. The Good News : FINALLY! We have the background story of Bat-Thomas and I think is just amazing, I really like this character since Flashpoint and I think this background story is very good stuff about Thomas so I spare a review of 10 for this issue but... As another "King" said (the singer Carole King) "It's too late baby, now it's too late". Too late after a terrible run from Tom King. And the Bad news are : I bet King kills Bat-Thomas the next number... I know because is King's way and because the infamous foretelling of Gotham Girl at the end of "I'm Gotham". So I'm expecting the worst. And you?

SIMPLY AWFUL! Just as the overall King´s run. Does this crap worths the dead of Alfred? What do we get in return? Gotham Girl? I really hate her, she´s got 0% appeal. Bat & Cat? I´m done with bat & cat. It was just tooooo muuuuch bat & cat! I really like Flashpoint Batman and Bane as characters but King just wasted them in a very idotic way. Before #50 there were some interesting things. I really loved "The war of Jokes and Riddles" and "The Best Man" but after #50 King´s storytelling was just cheap and lazzy. At the end this run just lacks too much. This is BATMAN! Most Meaningful Title in the entire comics industry! and DC just keeps bringing us CRAP. The preview on Tynion´s run just hints at the rumored end of Bruce Wayne in 2020 and the incomming of the Afrobatman. I´m tired of this. Batman is Bruce Wayne and is a cultural icon. Batman deserves much better from DC.
