If every comic were as good as this, I'd be broke. I love this series.

This one shot is a perfect example of what Tom King is capable of when he is at his best. If you are enjoying the current Batman run, then this is a must-buy. If you are not following, but you want to know what this Batman run is all about, then this is a great issue for you to dive right in to and get a taste. Any fan of Batman, Swamp Thing, or fans of superhero comic books in general should add this beauty to their collection.

There was a lot going on here. But, it was presented in such a confusing way that I wasn't excited about very much of it. Something has gone terribly wrong if every time I flip a page, I get the feeling I've missed something, and I need to flip back. It is nice to have Snyder and Capullo together again. But for me, the fun stopped there.

A satisfying conclusion to a really fun Batman-Flash crossover. I liked this issue. A lot. Here is the thing though... it is the weakest entry of the 4 parts. There were two 'reveals' in this issue (if you can call them that). The big reveal at the end only served to re-confirm what we've all known since Rebirth #1. It is kind of painful watching hints get dropped, when literally everyone already knows exactly what these hints are leading up to. The cover itself is a spoiler. And Jay Garrick's reveal was a little lack-luster. Especially since we all just witnessed Wally West's return unfold in basically the same way (minus Batman) when this series started. Having said that, this is still an essential buy for fans of Batman, Flash, or anyone interested in unraveling the mysteries behind Rebirth. Let's hope this one pays off down the road.
