Jul 19, 2017While I have no shame in my love for Covenant, it feels nice to come back home. And that's what Dead Orbit #3 feels like. Home for the Alien fans. Excellent effort through three issues. If you're looking for cold terror in a warm summer, scoop up Dead Orbit. Stay frosty! Read Full Review

Jul 19, 2017Aliens: Dead Orbit continues to delight from issue to issue but I also know at this stage that it's going to be an even stronger read in a single sitting. Stokoe's artwork is hugely engaging for me as there's so much to take in that if you just "read" it quickly, which you can for many pages because of the light or non-existent dialogue, you're missing a lot of what's making this such a strong work. It's worth several reads and really digging into the detail over and over to just soak it all up. Very recommended. Read Full Review

Jul 20, 2017Alien: Dead Orbit #3 is an excellent penultimate issue, setting up next month's finale perfectly. Building off the suspense and tension of the last two issues, the creator gives us plenty of reasons to stay invested in this mini-series, with it giving Dark Horse's next Aliens project a lot to live up to. Word Of The Nerd - Brent Jackson
Jul 22, 2017Aliens Dead Orbit #3 is another fantastic issue in this four issue mini-series. Stokoe understands the Aliens franchise and plays with the Xenomorph characters well. As stated earlier it is a simple "basic" story, but that is the thing if you do the "basics" well they always work and Stokoe is doing them almost perfectly. Things seem to go from bad, to worse, to certain death for Wascylewski and this Issue is no different. Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - Dustin Cabeal
Jul 19, 2017It's not a bad comic book, but it's not good either. If the art were by anyone else, you wouldn't be reading issue three. It's that dull. It's that boring. It's painfully similar to everything Alien out there, even the new film. Also, the main dude is probably just a droid since that's the only element we seem to be missing, but I'm hard pressed to keep going on this series regardless of how many issues are left. If every comic were as good as this, I'd be broke. I love this series.
