Yes, it's true I understand you or maybe I don't understand comics as much as you do, but man is the joker, it's the same thing as taking a Rambo movie and making a pastel comedy, people are expecting something else, even if it is intentional is very risky, the screenwriter chose to take a very big risk, of course it would divide people and receive a lot of criticism.
I don't think Joker, a character that is mostly about theatrics, chaos and comedy, and pretty often gay-coded for Batman, is a character that breaks in the circumstances of this issue. In fact, the Joker is extremely versatile. There have been so many different interpretations of him, and this is the one people take issue with for very legitimate reasons? I don't buy it. People are mad because they were told to be, and never actually read this issue or the series as a whole.

The handling of the flashbacks was quite nice, and of course the conversation between Bruce and Jason was incredible, both need to come to trust, however a new separation is glimpsed.
