VENOM has seen firsthand the chaos that even one of ...
One issue from its conclusion, Aaron's Thor run continues to be The Best. Aaron does that thing he loves doing where he introduces a team of one-off characters who have such great designs and gimmicks that they feel like they could headline their own book--it's great as always. And the final page is KILLER, thanks to the pure genius of Esad Ribic. Seriously, the man is an artistic god. Long live G more
King Thor #3

Batman (2016)
"I AM GOTHAM" chapter one
No one has ever stopped the Caped Crusader. Not The Joker. Not Two-Face. Not even the entire Justice League. But how does Batman confront a new hero who wants to save the city from the Dark Knight?
CAN'T MISS: Superstar artist David Finch returns to Batman alongside writer Tom King for this five-part storyline.
If you thought the Matthew Rosenberg X-Men run had potential that it didn't fulfill, THIS is your issue. Fantastic, heartbreaking stuff, with one of the most impactful endings I've read in a superhero comic in years. Larraz, of course, continues to bring beautiful art and Gracia delivers on the colors.
House of X #4
Xavier's dream turns deadly for some of his students as they fight back against the humans' plan to eliminate them. Superstar writer Jonathan Hickman (FANTASTIC FOUR, AVENGERS, SECRET WARS) continues his reshaping of the X-Universe alongside Young Gun artist Pepe Larraz (EXTERMINATION, AVENGERS). The Future of the X-Men begins here!

Crowded said gay rights!
This issue had less comedy than the last couple, but the action scene was KILLER. Stein and Brandt are masters of fight choreography. Also, Vita in a tank top.
Crowded #9
Charlie and Vita's hopes of ending the Reapr campaign rest on a potentially insane techbro billionaire hiding in the penthouse of Las Vegas' most secure casino. And if their plan to break in succeeds, they'll still have to bust out of a desperate town of people one bad bet away from killing them both.
I'm not normally one for "everything you thought you knew was wrong!"-type retcons. It's not that there's anything inherently wrong with them, it's just that they're hard to pull off without just coming off as the writer smelling their own farts and being unfair to prior creative teams. With this issue, Hickman shows so much respect-- for past creators AND the reader-- that it's impossible not to more
House of X #2
Learn the truth about one of the X-Men's closest allies...and then begin the fight for the future of mutantkind! Superstar writer Jonathan Hickman (AVENGERS, SECRET WARS, FANTASTIC FOUR) continues reshaping the X-Men's world with Marvel Young Gun artist Pepe Larraz (EXTERMINATION, AVENGERS)!
Rated T+
House of X #1 was a stunning, awe-inspiring debut that showed how committed Jonathan Hickman is to matching the feelings of the characters inhabiting his brave new X-world with those of the readers. In House of X, there's this palpable sense of inspiration, of hope renewed-- you truly feel like the mutants are moving forward after so any years of stagnation, ready to walk hand-in-hand into the fut more
Powers of X #1
FEAR THE FUTURE! Superstar writer Jonathan Hickman (INFINTY, NEW AVENGERS, FF) continues his revolutionary new direction for the X-Men. Intertwining with HOUSE OF X, POWERS OF X reveals the secret past, present and future of mutantkind, changing the way you look at every X-Men story before and after. I hopped on board the Hickman train midway through his Avengers run and I haven't gotten off since, so I'm very pleased to say HoX #1 lives up to the hype and then some. Hickman seamlessly blends traditional superhero storytelling with a sci-fi political thriller, with plenty of help from Pepe Larraz and Marte Gracia's gorgeous art, Clayton Cowles' subtle lettering, and some truly excellent graphi more

Immortal Hulk
HORROR HAS A NAME.
You'd never notice the man. He doesn't like to be noticed. He's quiet. Calm. Never complains. If someone were to walk up and shoot him in the head... all he'd do is die.
Until night falls. And someone else gets up again.
The man's name is Banner.
The horror is THE IMMORTAL HULK.

Kieron Gillen (The Wicked + the Divine) teams up with powerhouse artist Caspar Wijngaard (Doctor Aphra) as he r...
