A really solid, standard Ms. Marvel issue (and I definitely mean that as a compliment)! While I'm starting to brace myself as I have a feeling I really am not going to like who the new villain is when they are finally unmasked, I am rather pleased with how this story is going so far. Definitely check it out!

I think this just became my main X-book. Great issue!

I WANT TO LIKE THIS BOOK SO BAD. Why do you do this to me, Marvel? You give me amazing runs on characters I don't necessarily care about, and when I'm dying for an America book, we get...this. This isn't the America I fell in love with in Young Avengers and Ultimates...😔

I just... Ugh.

I really, REALLY want to like "America," but it tries waaaaaay too hard. The story is all over the place and can't find the proper balance between lighthearted fun and emotional resonance. There's so much happening all at once yet I just can't make myself care.

I really want to like this, so I picked up the second issue... but honestly it is hard to deal with this writing (not that the art is that great anyway). This had great potential to showcase a Latina-American superhero but not as some cliche whiny stereotypical child. Weak lines like "Not today, Basura", "caramba" and "ay Dios mio, Selena help us"... just made me cringe. David Gabriel is a moron for saying Diversity is at fault for the Marvel Sales slump; that's not the case, that has never been the case -- I blame bad writing and events, and this comic is a perfect example of bad writing.

My favorite issue so far.

This book is finding its groove. It's got some silly dialogue sometimes, but I'm definitely onboard.

Definitely enjoyed this and coming back for issue 2.
