This was a great issue. I think the pacing of the writing was top-notch, and I was especially blown away by the art. Like always, Lucifer is the coolest character, but I am loving him being paired off with Beverly. I recommend picking up a copy of Lucifer #17 at your local comic book shop or wherever you get comics. Read Full Review

However, the issues is unevenly paced thanks to exposition-heavy segues into the hunters and the history of this tradition. But in the end, Lucifer #17 does enough to keep readers invested in what happens next. Read Full Review

I love it! Was dubious about The Hunt when it began but this is really been a great story with terrific writing. The hunters really do seem like worthy adversaries to Lucifer. When the lady got scared and shouted “Jesus”, I expected a joke or a comment like “not quite” from Lucifer but that ah well.
