Quantum and Woody #3 is a more emotional entry than the previous two installments, and it triumphs for it. Plus, Portela and Dalhouse keep things solid in the art department. Quantum And Woody #3is an interesting comic that should appeal to those already reading the series, but may not be a great place for new readers to hop into the story itself – even if the comic itself is more than accessible to anybody picking it up, and the quality is certainly there. As an introduction to these characters, you can't go wrong with this touching exploration of what happens when you get a little bit longer with a formerly deceased family member – the brother's reactions give you a great feel for who they are, and it's that feeling that will help you understand where they're coming from in the issues ahead. What was that. The last time I left Q&W they was in the flight for Australia ... What was that. Yes that was good. Yes that was funny. Yes that was touching. Yes that was weird (But very very funny). But I didn't have a clue were to put this story. Cover - I wanted the variant & find it. But I have to tell that the regular is beautiful & well in the spirit of my reading. The variant have a minor link. 1.5/2 Writing - That was weird but beautiful. 3/3 Arts - I liked the art even if after the previous issue, that was more ... Ordinary. 2/3 Feelings - So I don't know if I want to continue this title or not. Because I can even talk about a transitional issue. That's another thing entirely. Heartbreaking ... But Not what I expected. 1/2

A brief detour from the plot to retcon the goat, why not do this after the first arc is finished? It has no business being the third issue. Execution-wise it was touching, but it bounced around way too much. If you find yourself changing locations on every page, just stop it; that's too much bouncing.
