The must-read superhero-action-family-drama-buddy-comedy throwdown of 2018! It's the ones you love that hurt you the most...and, in the case of super-powered adoptive brothers Eric and Woody Henderson - aka Quantum and Woody - this is defi nitely going to leave a mark! Quantum has kept the truth about Woody's biological father a secret, and now that Woody has found out about his brother's betrayal, their once-promising superhero career has ground to a standstill. So now it's time for one last shot at teaming up as our heroes head "down under" - ahem, to Australia - in search of Woody's one true DNA match. Like father, like son? Let's hope not more

All in all, Quantum And Woody #2 is a comic books comic, packed with surprises, fun, fisticuffs, absurdity, and conflict. A mystery or two and a pinch of suspense and this comic couldnt possibly have anything more to offer readers. Which is just fine. What else do you really need in your comics? Read Full Review

With everything going on in this issue, the Goat wandering around while the brothers are brawling in the house, was priceless. Can anyone truly be worse than Woody? Full disclosure: I find it difficult for comedy books to hold my attention, but this series is a glorious exception to the rule. The jokes land consistently, and the drama keeps this screwball comedy well grounded. It is more than fair to say that I am hooked. Read Full Review

Ultimately, this issue was a genuine surprise for me; a comic that over delivered on my expectations with a script that has an intelligence and deceptively deep plot hidden just bellow the surface all wrapped into an art style that packs enough visual humour to keep you smiling without overpowering the quality of the book itself. Things take an unexpected turn through the events of Quantum & Woody #2. If anyone assumed another issue would be spent with these brothers mending their friendship or bonding, then this was that time to think again with the world's worst superhero team is at war with itself. You thought their careers as heroes was spotty, but their personal lives are humorously no better. Read Full Review

    Comic Bastards - Dustin Cabeal

Support it, give it a shot. Comics like this are few and far between. It's not groundbreaking, but it's a damn good comic and some of that comes from the fact that the publisher isn't so big that one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. Read Full Review

    Spartantown - Enrique Rea

'Quantum and Woody' #2 has a lot going on but Kibblesmith and Kano make sure it remains grounded in brotherhood. It's funny, exciting, subversive, and beautifully illustrated. The buddy action comedy is alive and well at Valiant as 'Quantum and Woody' put the fun in dysfunctional. Read Full Review
