Jim Zub continues to stay true to the universe and characters that were set up in the 1930s by the late Robert E. Howard. The writer works brilliantly well with the art team and goes all out to portray the real brutality and savagery of the Conan character. CONAN THE BARBARIAN #6 is a pitch-perfect example of a classic Conan adventure. Zub combines brutal action with supernatural evil for a rousing tale. Likewise, Braithwaites artistic style suits the Cimmerian and his exploits to a tee. Read Full Review

Grim Jim Zub continues to write a great Conan yarn. Classic sword swinging action and some good character stuff as well. Doug Braithwaite provides excellent pencils

This run continues to be great. It includes everything that a Conan book should have without getting too creative, yet still keeps it fresh*; having Queen of the Black Coast happen between arcs is in my opinion a very elegant way to keep it moving along. It's a simple premise with very solid execution and the quality hasn't wavered in 6 issues. *insofar that Conan can be at this point.

I'm not sure if this is the same artist as the last issue, but I like this art better. There are some nice action spreads. Not a whole lot happened in this issue.
