This was a foreseeable conclusion to a classic X-Force story. People torment mutants, X-Force kills them, enter a new challenger. Last week's issue had a touching moment with Kid Cable and Cannonball. This issue didn't have much except a rant from Domino about being honest with your team. We're going to delve more into Kid Cable's history in the next arc, "The Origin of Kid Cable". I'm really hoping for something fantastic because if you're going to kill off a badass like Cable, I'm going to need a little better than this. Read Full Review

This was the best issue yet and brings in the mediocre bad guy we’ve been waiting on. A few deaths thrown in and this issue has it all. Brisson is writing a deserving X Force story but Burnett is the weak link in this fun series. I think this story has a lot of potential I can’t wait til the first guest artist gives us the visual impact to match the storytelling.

Enjoyed this issue very much. Brisson is great here. Yes some things could've been better but overall it's easily the best conclusion in my opinion. Great switcherroos and nice final reveal! I seem to be in the minority but i think Dylan Burnett is actually the best fit for this book. He's killing it and Aburtov is fantastic on colors!!

With this issue ends the first story arc of this series and for me this issue is good, but it could have been better. The action is fantastic and the chemistry between these characters improves more and more. Once again, we have an excellent character connection, this time between Cable and Domino. I like what Brisson is building around the Cable - Rachel relationship and how everything comes together from "Extermination". I think Ahab's death could have more impact. The artwork and colors are ok. The appearance of Stryfe was already expected and makes you want to know what will come next. Solid conclusion. Overall an enjoyed issue.

Ed Brisson is a great writer and one of the best Marvel has right now. In this 4 issue run he has created a compelling story which sets up some mysteries, brings back Ahab, puts Rachel Summers on the forefront and brings back the original X Force to take revenge on “Kid Cable” for killing Cable. However the art by Dylan Burnett is totally at odds with the epic sci fo adventure being told. The gritty cartoonish style is jarring, especially the super pointy faces: everybody looks like the Joker. This is a major problem for the book, which deceives you with some gorgeous Pepe Larraz covers. Story is interesting, so let’s hope for a change in artists soon.
