Issue 6 continues to tell an amazing story of mutant struggle, while continuing to be hilarious. It's X-Men meets The Boys, but a PG version. One second you're wondering where Broderick gets all his corndogs from, and the next you're getting an insightful history lesson from Havok's inner monologue. If you're sleeping on X-Factor, don't! It's a refreshing, fun, and traumatizing take on the aftermath of the fall of Krakoa. I got to give this issue, 9 out of 10 corndogs. Read Full Review

X-Factor #6 skillfully balances emotional resonance, humor, and action while delving into the chaos and dysfunction of the team. Despite some narrative convolution and underdeveloped elements, the issue succeeds in delivering impactful character moments and visual storytelling, making it a solid continuation of the series. The archness and cynicism of the tone, combined with oddly stiff, cartoonish art, makes for a less successful issue than the previous five. Read Full Review

Russell & Quinn pull back on the comedy and focus on drama, and the book benefits immensely from it. Definitely the best issue so far

X-Factor #6 shows why this is the most unpredictable and original series in the From the Ashes era. It seems that Mark Russell has been building the tension in the last five issues, and the dramatic ramifications of Havok, Polaris and Frezy's decisions are making me very excited for the future of this incarnation of the team. My only mild criticism with this book is the art, which is just good enough, but not spectacular.

Been thinking of dropping this, but I liked this issue. Will see how it goes.

Maybe I'm rating this as high as I am because of the last two issues being the weakest in the series thus far, but this was a good read. This had a lot more serious moments, while still balancing the more comedic ones, which I was a fan of. Hopefully Russell keeps this up, as I do like a lot of the ideas in this series.
