Wolverine #21 is a fast-paced thrill ride that finds an amusing way to drop exposition on readers that never messes with the books pacing. Percy writes an amazing Deadpool and knows how to blend him with Wolverine expertly. Kuberts pencils arent perfect all the way through, but when hes hitting, its a thing of his usual beauty. Wolverine #21 is an action-packed exposition fest, which is pretty much what one would expect when flipping open a book starring Wolverine and Deadpool together. It's a gorgeous sight to behold artistically as Kubert and Martin are top tier for a Wolverine artistic team, especially when it comes to the type of action that Logan invariably finds himself caught up within. DEADPOOL and Percy are just not jiving with this reviewer. It's almost as if Percy is trying too hard to be comedic, goofy, and sarcastic just because that's DEADPOOL. However, it's happening at times that just don't fit, aren't necessary to the story, and aren't overly funny. Heck, the focus seems to be so much on DEADPOOL that even WOLVERINE'S dialogue felt a bit off at times. Read Full Review

Wolverine #21 is a good, but not great comic. There are highlights for sure and clever bits of dialogue and artistry, but it hasn't quite found its groove. The idea of Deadpool stealing the story arc is fun, but the execution wise it limps along too slowly or awkwardly. Read Full Review

This volume of wolverine continues to be fantastic as Percy continues to expertly handle my favorite character. This had the funny aspect of Deadpool layered on top of a really great wolverine story that I can't wait to see what's on the horizon. Benjamin Percy is an expert with wolverine and it seems he has Deadpool's voice nailed down perfectly as well. Adam kubert does a fantastic job with the artwork like he always does with wolverine making this a fantastic wolverine book

Like the last issue, this one is Deadpool-heavy, but it sits better with me. I had a lot of fun reading this, even though I think the plot isn't as clear as it could/should be -- even accounting for the fact that tension and mystery are good things. What I really like is that I get a real sense of joy in the creators' work here, particularly the artist's. It might not be the most polished perfect gorgeous thing he's ever drawn, but I really think he had fun doing it.

Man, Kubert's art really fits in great here. The story continues to be written nicely as well, however, I didn't find this issue to be quite as strong as the last one. That said, though, this is still fun, which is exactly what you want from a Wolverine & Deadpool story.

Not quite as strong as last month's team-up. Percy has a very good handle on Deadpool and I can always appreciate some Kubert art but this particular issue felt like it was spinning the wheels a little bit and I'm not sure the uneven pacing helped.

I get enough Deadpool elsewhere. There wasn't enough non-Deadpool content to keep me interested.
