Wolverine #14 is an intriguing start to a new chapter for Logan that has an old-school feel longtime Wolverine fans won't want to miss. It also zips along with a good pace, though it does feel like it's missing connective tissue between scenes at times. All in all, it's a solid start to Wolverine figuring out his new Arakki nemesis. Wolverine #14 is just a solid issue of Wolverine. Percy does such a great job with the character and builds an exciting plot, playing off what he set up in the Hellfire Gala issues. Kubert and Martin return on art and knock it out of the park. This issue isn't going to change the world, but it's a lot of fun. Read Full Review

This was fantastic! I really got pulled into this story the worst part of this book was the fact that it ended I really can not wait until the next issue. The artwork was incredible but that is no surprise as Adam kubert is the artist

Wolverine tackles the mystery of who burnt the Marauder, and a whodunnit chain leads him to an Arakkii pirate and a fresh suspect. It's not the most novel story and I really kinda hate the design of the pirate. (He's basically the boss mutant from DKR with some Warhammer bitz glued on him.) But the storytelling is superb. Benjamin Percy hits the perfect blend of novelty and cliche in his tough-guy prose. And although I often accuse Adam Kubert of cruise-controlling it, this issue shows that he can work wonders when he's at maximum effort.

Personally, I found it a bit boring, but I can appreciate a slow buildup for a strong payoff.

A pretty solid issue, though it was a little slow at times. I do think Percy continues to write Logan well and I liked the interactions he had with Sevyr, despite it feeling a little rushed initially, despite my comment that this book was slow in certain instances. All that said, this story definitely has potential and I hope it picks up in the next issue.
