Uncanny X-Men has been great so far, and Bunn, Land, Woodard and co. have fans believing Marvel isnt mistreating the X-Men. This series has exceeded expectations and it seems like Bunn has a solid, well-thought outplan laid out for some of our favorite mutants. Greg Land is doing some of the best work of his career and being teamed with Nolan Woodard and inker Jay Leisten has really helped round out his art. So overall, Ill keep reading. I guess thats the bottom line, right? This book is quite enjoyable, but nowhere near the top of my stack. All things considered, UNCANNY X-MEN #4 is an (at least for Greg Land standards) artistically solid and overall promising comic book that, despite minor inconsistenciesin the characterization of Monet, does a good job at leading into the finale of the title's first story arc. Read Full Review

Oh my gosh. Soooooo much better now. We are actually getting somewhere in this book. I honestly think Extraordinary is the better X-Man book but finally Uncanny is getting somewhere. Cullen has a plan that I can see now, I appreciate that. Land's art was good for this issue. And I hope it stays good or even improves. Can't wait for next issue.

The story is not that bad, I mean, I generally like Cullen Bunn's work -- but greg land's art is so... ugh. I'm sorry Bunn, my man, but I cannot support your comic while Land is the artist.
