Absolutely incredible. Aaron writes Kid Omega so well here, and Dauterman's art is stellar as usual. Also, it's weird/fun seeing Krakoa pre-Hickman X-Men era.

That was an awesome story. Aaron is on top of his game and Dauterman and Wilson are art perfection. I gotta admit that issue had everything in on tight bundle. Plus there is more!!!! CAN'T WAIT!

This has been an awesome arc, and this issue is no exception. Cosmically epic in scope, it still is filled with great character scenes to go along with the action. Quentin Quire is a fun addition, and Russell Dauterman absolutely kills it on art.

The story starts out pretty great with an introduction of Quire by having him talking to the living island. Seeing Odinson return to fight with Thor is a great moment. We also get a great origin story for the Phoenix as a god of the Shi'ar that I loved. I am on board for wherever this story is talking us.

Thor and pals humiliate the Shi'ar gods so thoroughly that even Gladiator and the Guard turn against them. In a petulant rebuttal, they summon the Phoenix, and our only hope is, sigh, Quentin Quire. Mere words cannot express how awesomely satisfying it is to see those terrible Shi'ar jerk gods get their comeuppance. Even Quentin Quire's presence is tolerable. Yeah, his self-obsessed awfulness provokes an "ugh" reaction, but that's precisely what it's supposed to do. Some insanely great artwork helps shuffle this issue firmly into best of the best territory. This is exactly what you want comicbook art to be: A glorious, lavish production that pushes the limits of what talented artists can put together in a month. Colorist Matthew Wilson is c ontributing just as much as line guru Russell Dauterman. more

Not a fan of Quentin Quire and his appearance felt very forced. This story arc has been dragged out way too long and could’ve easily been finished in 3-4 issues. The arrival of the Phoenix is also totally unnecessary
