While I haven't cared much for the storyline with the Governor as she's far too underdeveloped overall and just never connected well as a character, the use of Sabe is what has driven the whole thing well. I like the place she's put in here at the end and seeing the choice she makes while also understanding how Vader's view of things is changing more and more as well. A couple of decades worth of manipulation means it can't last forever and exploring some of that is fun. It's a decent read with some great artwork. I'll be glad to move on from some of these legacy characters, however, and see where it shifts to next with Coruscant and Palpatine. Read Full Review

It seems like this story has wrapped up for now, but new stories are always coming. Sabe has made a place for herself in this series and promises to continue on into the next arc alongside Darth Vader. Read Full Review

The comic ends with a bit of a tease and the pair limping off together towards a possible conclusion to the arc and a meeting with the Emperor whose plans for his apprentice likely do not include a new friend who reminds him of his lost love and humanity. Read Full Review

I thought this was a pretty good issue. At least it showed that Vader was a badass but not invulnerable. He goes up against a couple of impossible targets and beats them, but not without sacrificing himself. Sabe makes a conscious decision to save him but really considers it first. Some good action in this.
