    Comicsverse - Chris Galvin

This is my favorite Spider book at the moment and if Bendis and crew can create a stellar issue without one moment of Spidey action, their storytelling power guarantees I'll come back again and again. It's the most entertaining comic I've read this month. Read Full Review

Black Nerd Problems - William Evans

The action is all but non-existent, but we got a great moment with Miles and Kamala, the introduction of our villain for this book and the a surprise new mutant joining Miles' class. All in all, pretty hard to go wrong in this one. Read Full Review

It's a quiet issue, setting the foundation for future stories - but the focus on character and real-world problems makes it true to the original concept of the character. Read Full Review

This issue offers an entertaining glimpse at life in the Morales household as both Miles and his father struggle to adjust to this abuelita's tyrannical rule. The interaction between Miles and fellow Avenger Ms. marvel is also entertaining, if a bit more limited in scope than what the cover suggests. Read Full Review

Only three chapters in and Spider-Man is balancing the life of Miles and his Alter-Ego greatly. Bendis is breaking new ground with adding to his family and throws in a fan favorite from his Uncanny X-Men run to make things even more interesting than they already are! Spider-Man #3 lightens up on the action but keeps us reading for the interactions between the various characters and the new sandbox Miles is traversing. Read Full Review

    Wednesday Comics - Marvin Salguero

Bendis is having an issue finding something interesting for Miles Morales to do. The first three issues has proven him and Pichelli know this character well, but so far he hasn't done much. The Avengers showing up in issues one and two slow down this story's progress and we are finally getting to the story. The enemies coming for Miles will hopefully bring some much needed excitement to what has been, so far, just okay title. Read Full Review
