Punisher #11

I haven't seen this much action in a Marvel comic in a long time. It's exciting to see Frank Castle as a relentless assassin once again. His badassery is what we've been waiting for, for a long time. There's only so much contemplating and pondering that a Punisher fan can put up with. Oh, we know that exposition is important to tell the story, but a great Punisher story, like a great James Bond film, only uses the story as a plot device to deliver the action, and this issue delivers in grand style! Just like its lead, this issue is relentless. There's more action in this issue than most summer blockbusters. The characterization is dead-on, and you may even laugh here or there as well. Nobody's Punisher will ever be Garth Ennis' Punisher. That's in a league of its own. But this creative team has come up with consistently excellent stories to feature our man Frank. Read Full Review

Lets Land the PlaneAs someone who doesnt thoroughly read every issue of The Punisher, nor views him a favorite character, Rosenbergs take felt different" but I really liked it. Now, I dont know if that was Rosenbergs intent but I highly enjoyed it. That said, I can also see how diehard Punisher fans may not like this take of the character. For this reader, the issue was exciting and fun. It felt like an action movie on steroids and I was happy to reread it in order to figure out some of the extra details. If you want Punisher to be John Wick, this issue will work fine. However, if you're unsettled by Frank Castle portrayed as a badass hero, this won't win you over with its numbing chaos and lacking story. Read Full Review

Pro. We are finally going back to new york. Con. Its still going to be within this zemo story it seems. Not that its been bad at all but just seems to be dragging at this point. Either switch it up and take a break for a few issues or use is at backstory but I'm not sure how much longer this story will keep my interest.

High octane - I'll give it that. But it was such a mangled choreography and blatant Punisher can't kill Handbook Guy story. Nice cover too, it's what grabbed me to read it.
