Predator: Black, White & Blood #1 is a standout entry that delivers brutal action, strong storytelling, and striking visuals. Exactly what fans of the franchise want. Marvel doesn't hold back here; each tale feels raw, original, and perfectly suited to the black, white, and (green) blood aesthetic. The themes are sharp, the violence hits hard, and the art keeps you turning pages. If you were a fan of Predator: Killer of Killers or Prey, this anthology is right up your alley. Plot This special has several short stories from different creative teams: “Bloodwood” Part 1. Writer: Joe Kelly, Artist: Álvaro Lopez: A young Predator is captured in the mining town of Ophir on the Australian border in the late 19th century, and, missing an arm, becomes the local fighting scene. This first part shows the evil side of humanity. The cool color palette balanced by red gives it a perfect vintage tone. “Once and Future” Writer: Eliot Rahal, Artist: Brian Lebel, Color Artist: Lee Loughridge: An old man recalls with terror a bloody encounter with a Predator from the era of Arthurian knights. The story combines the horror of Predator space technology with classic sword and sorcery. “A Place of No Honor” Writer: Sarah Gailey, Artist: Fran Galán: A Yautja infiltrates a weapons convention to see if these specialists are truly a match for his skills or technology. more

The first two stories were good, but the third story was GREAT. Always a good strategy to save the best for last, definitely put this one back in the bag and board feeling like I just read a great comic.

Marvel is really bringing something new to this seemingly alien universe for this company. The first issue consists of three parts that wander through time, and I evaluated each one differently, but overall, the series in three colors seemed quite interesting to me, and I'm sure it will continue like this.
