20 issues later and I actually enjoy an issue in this series! But felt it needed one or two more pages more. Liked the art. For a while the whole Peter/ Jonah partnership got annoying but actually enjoyed it in this issue.

Probably liked this more than I should have. It was a good read. I'm not involved with spidergeddon nor have I read any spiderverse so morlun is new to me and it was really interesting to see them battle.

yay Zdarsky is gone! finally I can try to read this again! and I'm liking it! from a base of 6, this gets a rating of: 8. +2 because: almost enough to make me read the event. probably not...

This was good but there wasn't much to it. I'm not sure if the writer gets Peter's voice right and Morlun is not even close to my favorite villain. So a big fight with an off Peter and a villain I don't care for isn't my thing. But luckily, J. Jonah Jameson's involvement saves the issue for me. I like everything involving him so I'm sure next issue will be better.

It honestly wasn't that bad, but it was a definite disappointment for me. I understood that Peter wasn't going to be a big part of Spider-Geddon, even to the point where his role would be nearly nonexistant. But I was really excited to hear that the reason for this would appear in this series while regular adventures would continue in Amazing Spider-Man. But honestly I was expecting something with a lot more excitement. Morlun being the villain makes sense, he's continuing one of his main missions from Spider-Verse, but honestly he isn't really doing it with any style or flair that I would expect from him. Spider-Man also gets his butt handed to him without Morlun actually going for the kill which we know he can from all the deaths in Spide r-Verse. I really loved Peter and Jameson's interactions though and it actually kinda saved the issue for me. more

Pretty meh. Art is very good. And the writing isn't that bad, this just feels so meh-tie-in for Spider-Geddon.
