This 2-issue arc touched on a sensitive subject for some " teen romantic love and kissing " but did so with the usual combination of tenderness, honesty, and joy. No matter how you feel, having someone to talk to about those feelings is key. A friend, an auntie, a minister, whoever. A touching, emotionally charged story, the issue brings Kamala closer to where she started. While nothing will be the same as it always was, Kamalas maturity will lead her into her spectacular 50th issue taking her back to her roots and what makes the character great. Read Full Review

Ms. Marvel #30 is another fun entry into Marvel's near-perfect high school drama, but this one wraps up into a neat little bow a little too easily. This mini-arc was certainly transitional, but thanks to G. Willow Wilson effortlessly nailing dialogue and Nico Lean's signature art style, it'll still more than hold your attention. It feels like editorial put the squeeze on Wilson for this arc, as it is something that I could've easily seen stretched to four issues. But with the big celebratory Issue #50 coming up next month Marvel probably just wanted to clear the decks for whatever story they have planned in that. The pacing did feel like an issue, but there's only so much you can do with oh so many pages. Art was solid throughout. For what it is, this was a fun and banter laced issue. Read Full Review

Oh no ! Not Doc.X again. I left Kamala because of him. There last encounter was the worst arc I read. So I'm not fond of the idea ... But I forced myself in (hey I know, gross) and in the middle that turn in something quite enjoyable. Once Moore Zoé is one of my favorite Character. And I laughed when kamala fall of Doc.X showing the real treat to the crowd. The end was beautiful. Cove - Nice & in a way related 2/2 Writing - Very good save, because I was already one feat outside with the Doc.X revelation. 2/3 Arts - Maybe not the best, but this going so well with Kamala stories. And Nico make sure to made the female cast very sweat. 3/3 Feeling - Well I will see what's next ! 1/2

Team Bruno beats Team Red Dagger on a technicality - Bruno's coming back to Jersey City and Lal is going back to Karachi. But Bruno IMMEDIATELY creates a new romantic triangle by making nice with Kamala and Mike at the same time. Oh, and supervillain Mean Girl Kaylee is unmasked as a Doc.X Bot and defeated at the Spring Fling dance. It all looks good and there's solid humor and characterization, but the sheer number of developments prevents any one of them from getting satisfyingly deep.
