Miles Morales Spider-Man #33 is a good issue that sets up a big (final?) confrontation between Miles and the Assessor. While an extended fight scene dominates the issue, Michele Bandini's art and more Shift than we've ever gotten makes this worth reading for fans of this book, even if this feels like we just got on the bus to the fireworks factory. I would recommend this one if you are a fan of this version of Spider-Man and have already been following this series. It does seem pretty late in the series to pick up if you have not been but not impossible. Read Full Review

While there are some big things going on in the other Spider-Man book, Miles' own book continues to spin its wheels heading towards a potential overarching storyline conclusion. Miles Costume here looks better than ASM book but still okay at best. Change the Mask immediately. Story wise it is better than ASM Beyond part. This is just a tie in. Tie in better than main story. Wierd. Glurppppp.

Better than the ASM issue this kind of ties in with. Like the clone sidekick and story is pretty decent.

The only real disappointment is that this issue leaves you wanting more. But not in the good "that was delicious, are there seconds?" way, more in a "you call that a serving? I'm still hungry!" way.
