Miles Morales: Spider-Man #32

Date night goes awry for Spider-Man and Starling once Taskmaster crashes the party, in an issue that feels the most Spider-Man-like in some very good ways. It's a solidly-constructed issue at the tactical level, but the unanswered questions at the end are quite frustrating. The art shows off tons of detail. But again, a drawback: The blocking and posing is stiff. It looks retro, and not (to me) in a good way.

It was OK. I feel like it was uneventful. Just another brawl with Taskmaster and some talking with RiRi. It just still manages to be entertaining and has that Miles charm.

This is fine. It doesn't really have an ending, but the journey there was fun enough.
