I really like this issue. There is beautiful art work with a lot of action going on every page. I'm still not a fan of Arno's clunky gear armor but that is what it is. The Story moves by at a generous clip and even though it seems like this is beginning of another end for Tony Stark I look forward to see what comes next and I have not been able to say that about this comic in awhile. Iron Man 2020 #2 flies an interesting mix of flags. The corny comedy banner is flying high, but so too are the flags of a thrilling "heist" plot and moving character development. Package it all with another serving of excellent art and you have a messy but vibrant story that's well worth following -- whether or not you find it funny to have H.E.R.B.I.E. cuss like a gangster. Prelude: I actually enjoyed Iron Man 2020's first issue so let's see how it goes for its second. The Good: I do like the intro showing the Robot Rebellion. The heist was cool. I like Pete Woods art. The Bad: Human side still feels overly evil. Conclusion: Like the previous issue, it's good but the human side of things feel too villainy for what should be an even split type of story.

It really wasnt bad but once again feels like we could be getting more. That arno suit looks terribly drawn. I'm just dreading all the tie ins and not sure of its worth 18 books of story.

This was pretty good but it's just not living up to the expectations I had. On top of that, not to get all nerdy on you, but a lot of these robots wouldn't qualify for the same rights as humans. That would, or should, happen when a machine can pass the Turing test. Most of the AI revolution's minions are simply incapable of that. This is a gripe I have with Dan Slott's understanding of machines. When you focus on it so much, it starts to wear thin for me.

I think HERBIE's sass is the tone-touchstone for this event. If you think Reed Richards' cute-bot cussing and quoting Terminator movies is the greatest thing since sliced bread, you'll love this event. The sass isn't a deal-breaker for me -- but it doesn't go in the "plus" column when I rate this comic, either.

Sentient AI is an interesting subject for discussion and should therefore make for an interesting premise in an Iron Man story. But something (that I can't quite put may finger on) is keeping me from taking ANY of this seriously.

Legit the only thing I care about is robot revolution and having to see Arno Stark is a real drag.
